Posted August 22, 201014 yr Having just been finished, the Pointe Tower was to be the pride of the Coastal province of Dewalt to protect from invasion across the sea, and on land. A build spurred the desire to make something castle and to have a sweet looking landscape, and this is the end result, and I am quite happy with it! So, Enjoy! August 22, 201014 yr Fantastic job, i truly love the tower desing and the total over feel of it. Great job mate, keep it up Captain Becker
August 22, 201014 yr Well done indeed! I love the design, and the detailing on the smaller tower is just brilliant! Also, a truly well done job on the cliff, as well as the water
August 23, 201014 yr Sweet!!! The landscape looks amazing! I love the water, and the shore looks great too. As for the building, no words can explain how good it looks. Nice job on the sign on the road.
August 23, 201014 yr So much about this is excellent, Dan: the rocks, the sand, the water, the grass, the road, the sign, and of course the very awesome tower. Pity for Dewalt that the invention of the cannon allows a small fleet to flatten it in 10 minutes. But a strong tower, and very picturesque until those days come!
August 23, 201014 yr Amazing MOC. I design is flawless- the round 1x1 are great, and the bottom of the tower is simply brilliant. The landscaping is perfect, and the tiled water is good. Well, if I could rate it from 1 to 10, I would give it a 12.
August 23, 201014 yr Excellent creation 'Dan Church' - fantastic tower outpost - man no one wants to fall from there eh ? Great work and I'm a conformist! 'Dan Church' I'm a conformist! !
August 23, 201014 yr What I love about this MOC is the simple yet beautiful architecture of the tower - the all-tan color scheme, smooth finish, and no overly-done details give it a clean sophisticated look. The other elements - rocks, water, li'l bit of greeneries - accentuates the simplistic beauty of this MOC. Great job Sir!
August 23, 201014 yr Great MOC Dan Church. I the smoothness of the tower and the roughness of the rocks.
August 23, 201014 yr Author the all-tan color scheme The tower is actually light bley, but I messed up the colors when editing the photos, I wish I had enough tan to make something like this. Thanks for the feedback.
August 23, 201014 yr That's very classy - the cheese wedges and tiles on the battlements are a very nice feature - The contract of smooth castle and jagged rocks gives this a very nice character. Did you build an interior? (Presumably its a staircase?)
August 23, 201014 yr Great Tower, Dan Church. The Design is very cool. I like the shore and the roadsign. It's brilliant.
August 23, 201014 yr I like this MOC. It uses simple, pure-style architecture, which is a pleasure for eyes.
August 24, 201014 yr The tower is actually light bley, but I messed up the colors when editing the photos It gives it that Grey Havens from LOTR (or even Rivendell) feel to it. The sun reflecting off everything, glowing everywhere.
August 24, 201014 yr You've certainly done a lot to avoid the "blank wall" problem that plagues so many castles and fortresses. I think it has turned out really nicely although if I had a criticism, it would be that the tower's ramparts look a little cramped.
August 26, 201014 yr This looks awesome dude, I love the sleekness of it, and the brightness of the landscape, are you planning on doing anymore with this kind of theme?
August 28, 201014 yr A very inspiring design, The blue tiles changing close to the rocks looks particularly impressive.
August 29, 201014 yr Can you take a picture from above, and a picture 30 centimeters higher than the first picture (from the same angle)? EDIT: I didn't notice the MOCpages link. Nevermind. P.S I think this MOC should be "frontpaged". Edited August 29, 201014 yr by noname
