Hello all

This is something I knocked up a couple of days ago. Ages ago I wanted to make a simple pneumatic train that did not require any non Lego Compressors etc. Version 1 had many faults including pulling its self apart every minute, derailing due to not having proper train wheels and generally not working a tall.

I still got quite a lot of work to do on this in making it look nice but it works quite well

That's a good idea, I usually run my pneumatics off a RC motor run one of the small compressors, I tried running 2 of them and the train did not seem to go faster

To save space you could use the smaller pump (http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/x191c01). I've seen setups with two pumps alternately pumping to have a better constant flow of air.

Great setup so far! I never imagined this could be possible.

6 or more pump are needed to replace one big pump in terms of air provided, but it would sure improve air flowing (constant flow).

It would be interesting to try that, if Burf2K has enough small pumps.

I actually found that using 1 of them pumps on a high speed rc motor works very well but for some reason the engine did not like it so much. I think it due to grunt per turn (made that up) e.g when the piston goes in how much in 1 go it pushes in. So the big ones have more force

I can try that, I have a "lot" of pneumatics
