EpicXDFail Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 (edited) Because this treasure hunt is so hard so only the truly hard-core LEGO AFOLers can get, maybe instead you guys should make it so you would simply be submitted in the raffle the number of people you found. So the more people you get, the more likely you are to win . But there would still be a limit of only 1 minifig per person. Because something tells me that less than 16 people are going to find them all . Edited September 4, 2010 by EpicXDFail Quote
Scop Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 (edited) I wasted 10 hours , distributed over 5 Days, to find the Spartan. Not mainly because I want to win one of the figures I perhaps already own, but because I could not live with the fact, that everyone out there seemed to have found him except for me. The good thing is, that the search drove me to three other at that time unrevealed figs. 12/10 at the moment, this raffle is a lot of fun and I have learned some Lego-facts I did´nt know before, good thing! Fugazi Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Because something tells me that less than 16 people are going to find them all . I wouldn't be so sure about that! There are some serious geeks here! But regardless of the difficulty level, I must say that this raffle is loads of fun! The treasure hunt is a great idea! Quote

Because something tells me that less than 16 people are going to find them all . I don't think it will be that bad, I think there is actually quite a big number looking for minifigures and a good group that are reasonably on track of finding them all. To be honest, I don't think the treasure hunt is too hard. I admit there are some hard ones that have me scratch my head, but I personally only returned to the Lego scene recently and only have been a member for about a month here and yet i have still found all 10. So it's more than do-able (usually comes down to reading the clue and then reading the clue again and again sometimes) and I'm pretty sure WhiteFang will issue some extra hints if the number of participants that have 16 is too low. WhiteFang Posted September 4, 2010 Author Posted September 4, 2010 Sorry for the earlier mix up. I have updated the first post correctly and for the 11th window, I will be releasing abit later than usual. Hope you guys are having a fun time searching the forums and make you understand more about LEGO and our culture. No doubt that there will be at least 16 people who find them all. I agreed with Rick. Trust me, there will be a lot more than that. Quote

Yup, It wasn't the first thing I thought of, but after looking up a certain word in google it pretty quickly lead me in the right direction. Good clue Quote
WhiteFang Posted September 6, 2010 Author Posted September 6, 2010 Dear Eurobricks Community, The 12th window is up. How are you guys doing? I hope all of you, or at least most of you are successful with your hunt. Surfer - 12th window [6th SEPTEMBER 2010 at 0830HRS, GMT +8] [A lot of people would want him to be their sigfig. Can be found in a discussion.] WhiteFang Quote
prateek Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 The Weightlifter was not so easy, but the surfer was easy. 13/12! Only 3 more! Quote
The Soup Nazi Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Soooo far 13/12. Lookin' good.... Quote
ILikePi Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Siegfried, the place where you hid the Karate Master was brilliant! It put a smile on my face once I figured out where it was. So far, I'm still missing the Spartan, and I haven't begun searching for the Weightlifter. I've been searching for at least an hour, and I still can't find the former! Quote

Inconspicuous Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Some of the more recent ones have been taking me a while. I'm at 13/12, but the weightlifter had me stumped. I still don't understand why it was in the thread I found it in, but I looked off of mere suspicion. Keep 'em coming! Quote
Rick Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 I guess that makes the Spartan the most sought-after figures in more than one way... Quote
Quarryman Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 The weightlifter clue didn't mean anything to me, but luckily I had already found him (and when I had the clue explained to me it made sense, though it is a difficult one if you don't happen to know what it's referring to). Quote
