Does that mean the first one, where the links and text are not combined hyperlinks?

I am not going to be picky. Please use the first option stated in your earlier quote. :classic:

Thanks for the clarification WhiteFang :classic:

PM sent to DarkFang

This was a very fun contest (great fun except for some select painful ones ) and I hope when the 3rd series comes out, a similar contest will be held

Less than 4 days left. The clock is ticking. Have you managed to find at least 15 windows?

12/16 but I'm really not complaining since this contest is pure fun and it's really enjoyable.

Now, you have to excuse me because I have an appointment with Mr Adrian Monk.

We've got 4 minifigs to find.

Nope. Still stuck at 14. I have looked everywhere that seemed reasonable to me for the Spartan and Witch, but I just can't find them, and I'm too frustrated to keep looking. Way to hide them (or give misleading clues).

What are the ones that you are having difficult with?

If you don't mind me asking, how many have entered so far?

It's only a handful (based on the total EB members' population before 26th Aug).

Take a search for the closest LEGO set there is to a Spartan action figure. [There is a keyword inside the clue itself. You got to find out which one it is.]

It's a witch! As we all know, the best way to deal with witches is to hunt them and put them on trial for their crimes. This noble witch is suitably found paying for its crimes in such a place. [There are not a lot of topics in Eurobricks where there are witches involved. I am sure you have seen the topic before but you are not observant enough to note its location.]

Hope these clues can help you.

I'd offer suggestions for improving your search, but was already admonished once in this thread...

As long it's subtle and not obvious and at the same time, involving some thinking, it's alright to offer some suggestions.

Thanks for trying to help! You were right about the witch; I took another look and found her.

Still puzzled about the Spartan, but maybe I'll find him too...

You see. DarkFang is such a wise Fellow.

Eurobricks Raffles and Mystery Treasure Hunt

To give more people a chance to participate, while not making the people who found them all feel unrewarded, we have decided for the very last time to allow Eurobricks members who are missing one or two answers to enter but at a lower chance of selection. You will need to specify which is/are the window/s that cannot be found.

16 out of 16 windows correct entitles 7 raffles chances

15 out of 16 windows correct entitles 3 raffles chances

14 out of 16 windows correct entitles 1 raffle chance

The submission deadline ends on the 19th Sep 2010, 0100hrs GMT +8 Singapore.

Read here to find out more.

My help is this... it's non-specific, so hopefully it's OK... use Google, and not the board search engine. Limit the search to eurobricks by using "site:www.eurobricks.com" in your query.

Nothing wrong with that hint; I think a few others have said something similar.

How about 10/16 = 1/2 a chance

 Sorry, but no.

The Spartan (shame on me... ), the Witch, the Karate Master and the Weightlifter. I'll give it a try for once more having the hints from the last posts in mind (thanks for that!).

P.S

Once the contest ends I'd like to share the "path" I followed for one of the minifigs above . Jigsaw ( ) ON!

P.S #2

One of the best contests, no doubt about that! Congrats to everyone who is involved in setting this up.

With all the clues about the witch (did you see the extra clues?) I can't understand how anyone would still have a problem... the last post by DarkFang practically hands it to you on a silver platter... yes, there's still a number of threads you might have to look through, but it's there!

Well, the witch took me 3+ hours of searching, compared to 10 minutes max for any of the other figs. Still, as you said, the hint is quite sufficient (although digging through all the similar threads does take a while).

That makes 16/16 for me - I'll submit my list when I get home. Thanks for the hunt!

Edit: By the way, I don't think anyone has asked if we have the chance to win multiple minifigs if we have multiple chances? Or, if once our name is picked, we can't win another.

Interesting point. If (say) two or three people are picked who found all 16, and therefore have seven chances, and they are then removed from the 'hat', then - depending on the total number of entries - this may make it significantly more likely that people who found less than 16 will win.

Left 39 hours and 30 minutes before this hunt is over.

7 chances to win meant your name is written 7 times for draw. The winner will only win 1 prize/minifigure but it will give the person who has 16 images a much higher chance to be drawn.

Does linking to the topic by searching the topic name count? I can't figure out any other way to get to some of the older ones.

I don't understand your question.

You've said before that we have to link to the specific posts when it's in the OP of the topic. I just can't seem to get to a lot of those posts. I thought by searching the topic title, that we would know that it must be in that topic and couldn't be there by accident.
