hewkii9 Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Out of the hundred tabs I opened to look for this...of course it was in the last five. Quote
Siegfried Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 This was the best clue yet! Not too hard, but very carefully worded! Kudos to the Clue Creator! (alliterations FTW! ) Thanks, mine as well. This is an easy one if you know it, potentially extremely hard if you don't... I think there's enough there for anyone to work it out though. JCC1004 Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Got this one the first try! I was thinking where to go first but clicked a different forum by mistake and then it hit me. 9 for 9 Quote
JimBee Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 D'oh!! It finally hit me after searching for hours. It's funny, too, since the word "karate" was running through my head the entire time (you know, karate?). Well people who got will get it. I have every one now except for the witch. Man is this one tough. I've searched and searched and search, I wonder if I missed the image somehow? Quote
Siegfried Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 May I ask, what's the 'PSM-2'? Nope! There are too many clues in that one as it is. Mustn't be beaten although it just could be too much for my little badger brain. Don't take it personally. To find the Mini-Figs from the clues three things will help most of all; 1. LEGO knowledge, the further back the better. Remember that many of the staff are 30+ (I'm 35) and have long LEGO memories! 2. Site knowledge, the further back the better. Some of the clues are about specific topics or members. 3. Non-LEGO Licensed Theme knowledge. Less important, but knowing details about Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter.... and so on.. can help. Quote
Etzel Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Quarryman encourage me to join this yesterday, and now that I have started I must say that I think it's a great idea! Very fun and entertaining. I got 11 already but it's getting harder to get the one without clues now, so I guess I'll have to wait for them Quote
RoryoCox Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 I am having real trouble find the Witch and the Spartan. I have searched every review on this forum and cannot find the Spartan. Also, I have trawled through all of the results I had for the Witch and none had it, Is it still there?? Quote
Rick Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 I got 11 already but it's getting harder to get the one without clues now, so I guess I'll have to wait for them I got tempted and I found two ahead of schedule as well... Is it still there?? Yes, they're still there... waiting for you to find them. Quote
Scop Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 I think that was kind of tricky if you´re not into it. so far 10/9 but still searching for this Greek Hoplit. I am starting to feel kind of silly, because everyone seems to have found him. Quote
Piranha Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 (edited) Hard/easy clue, I was bewildered for awhile, then when I found it, I had the "duh" moment , under 10 mins 8/9 Edited September 4, 2010 by Macoco Quote
Cecilie Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Thanks, mine as well. This is an easy one if you know it, potentially extremely hard if you don't... I think there's enough there for anyone to work it out though. Well, no wonder I find this extremely hard then Quote
WhiteFang Posted September 4, 2010 Author Posted September 4, 2010 Dear Eurobricks Community, Sorry for the delay. The 10th window is up, Karate Master - 10th window [4th SEPTEMBER 2010 at 1730HRS, GMT +8] [i can't tell you where he is; it's forbidden. But I can tell you it's in a review.] WhiteFang Quote
Rick Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Karate Master Pharaoh (found him already without the clue) Quote
Flare Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Karate Master - 10th window [4th SEPTEMBER 2010 at 1730HRS, GMT +8] [i can't tell you where he is; it's forbidden. But I can tell you it's in a review.] If you ask me, he sure looks like the pharaoh, not another Karate master! Quote
WhiteFang Posted September 4, 2010 Author Posted September 4, 2010 Ah, apologises for the mix up. I will update it later. Quote
Quarryman Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Pharaoh was easy, found him without the clue So 14/16 figs then, thought I had a clever idea about the mime, but alas I was wrong. Quote
Siegfried Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Pharaoh was easy, found him without the clue So 14/16 figs then, thought I had a clever idea about the mime, but alas I was wrong. Yeah, my clue. I made it vague for that reason, but I probably should have made it even vaguer! Quote
ThatGuyWithTheBricks Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Easy if you have knowledge of that line. Otherwise, you're pretty screwed. This was the one I found before. Quote
CMP Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Forbidden? On Eurobricks?? That could be anything! Quote
fred67 Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 (edited) Well, no wonder I find this extremely hard then Maybe if, *edited* Edited September 5, 2010 by Dragonator Hinting Quote
Siegfried Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Maybe if, No hints in any way, shape or form please. Quote
ThatGuyWithTheBricks Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 No hints in any way, shape or form please. Well, I don't think anyone who doesn't know the theme/subtheme already wouldn't get it from that hint. It's sort of an in-joke. Quote
prateek Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Easy peasy. I've got a feeling that the staffers are playing us easy and then they'll sneak up on us with the hardest one yet!! Quote
ThatGuyWithTheBricks Posted September 4, 2010 Posted September 4, 2010 Easy peasy. I've got a feeling that the staffers are playing us easy and then they'll sneak up on us with the hardest one yet!! I dunno. People have different standards of hard. I think it was the Cop, but others think it was the witch/spartan. For all we know, the hardest one has already been revealed. Quote
