pedro Posted September 13, 2010 Author Posted September 13, 2010 Pedro, I just wanted to point out that I have Force Push, not Force Shield. Unless it was one of the things that changed a while back, wouldn't my Push break filip's Parry, causing him to lose one HP? Not that it matters for that duel now, but I wanted to be clear on any rule changes. No, you're absolutely right. Normally I double check everything, but wee mistakes can still happen. It's usually down to me updating a couple of duels simultaneously and copying the wrong info to the wrong place. Fortunately, in this instance it didn't affect the outcome of the duel. And no worries, there's been no rule changes: Force Push is a Parry breaker still!
pedro Posted September 13, 2010 Author Posted September 13, 2010 (edited) Jedi Master Jim Butcher versus Sith Lord Dar'vole'e, DUEL II... winner through to the Final Confrontation: Jim Butcher. Dar'vole'e reaches out with forks of deadly Force lightning - Jim counters, throwing his lightsabre into the maelstrom. A Force Push from the Jedi stops a sinister strike from Dar'vole' but as he aims to strike again Jim Butcher finds an opening, grievously slicing the Sith Lord. Furious at this turn of events but in incredible pain, Dar'vole'e sends a signal to his hidden speeder. Using his last ounce of strength he leaps aboard the flying vehicle. Jim launches himself in pursuit, but as it gains altitude he can no longer keep up. The Sith Lord has escaped. Jim Butcher has rid the galaxy of a malignant force but for how long none can say... but surely he'll think twice before underestimating Jim's power again! Congratulations Jim, you are through to the Final Confrontation! An exciting and well played round, well done on getting this far filip. Edited September 14, 2010 by pedro
