Round 1 Jim Butcher | 6 Ber'Gin'Yon Torg'h | 5 Parry - 0 Low - 0 Sabre Throw - 1 High - 0 Force Push - 0 Sabre Throw - 0 Parry - 0 Mid - 0 Low - 0 Sabre Flurry / Low - 0 Health: 6 Health: 4 It is an age of strife. Across the galaxy many warriors have been called to arms and have fallen as they seek to fulfill what they believe is their destiny. Two of the galaxy's greatest champions have battled their way through the chaos and now find themselves face to face atop a plateau on a planet far from the core. The sky, bruised and menacing, let's it's payload loose on the figures, droplets sizzling upon ignited lightsabres, blue and blue. One of these Jedi is the Chosen One... CRASH! Ber'Gin'Yon Torg'h's blade is parried aside and Jim Butcher flings his sabre through the sparks, striking the Jedi. Torg'h launches his blade in retaliation only to find it deflected by a wall of Force. The Jedi rush into melee again manueuvering around each other with dizzying speed and agility, striking, parrying and countering potentially devastating attacks. Lightning flashes brightly across the sky, the deep boom of thunder causing no distraction to the duelling Jedi Masters... Please send your Duel Sequence for round 2 whenever you're ready. Round 2 Jim Butcher | 6 Ber'Gin'Yon Torg'h | 4 Sabre Throw - 1 Low - 0 Force Push - 0 High - 0 Parry - 0 Sabre Throw - 0 Mid - 0 Mid - 0 Mid - 0 Sabre Flurry / Low - 2 Health: 4 Health: 3 Lightning tears across the darkening sky, silhouetteing the figures for split second as they clash blades. The rain is merciless now, and their wet cloaks flap around sluggishly in the cold wind. Cast in blue light, the Jedi Masters duel furiously... Jedi Master Butcher flings with his lightsabre with uncanny accuracy as Torg'h tries to take his feet from under him. Cursing, Ber'Gin'Yon launches a series of aggressing sabre attacks, Jim using the Force and his blade to counter and parry. But the Jedi Master's pressure is relentless, his movements blur he launches a series of precise, sweeping attacks cutting under Jim's defenses and catching him off-guard. Butcher is taken off his feet by the hard blows, but quickly regains his footing, his legendary resilience put to the test again. Round 3 Jim Butcher | 4 Ber'Gin'Yon Torg'h | 3 Parry - 0 Sabre Flurry / Mid - 0 Force Push - 0 Low - 0 Parry - 0 Force Shield - 0 Sabre Throw - 0 Sabre Throw - 0 Parry - 0 High - 0 Health: 4 Health: 3 As the sky deepens to blackness it seems that all there is to the world is a flickering blue corona of light illuminating the two Jedi Masters and the icy rain and winds billowing around them. The moment is brief as the Jedi test each other again and again, allowing no quarter as tey continue their intense melee... Ber'Gin'Yon attempts to break down his rival with a dazzlingly fast volley of attacks, but Butcher anticipates his opponent and parries each strike. Jim then tries to take other Master off his feet with a powerful wall of Force energy but fails. Each attack is countered, every power is dispersed. As the duel continues, Jedi Master Torg'h's stamina begins to wane while he see's that Jim strength still holds. Consciously, he extinguishes his lightsabre blade, holding up his palm. Jim nods and extinguishes his own blade in response. Jim has won the duel for now but this confrontation is not over yet... Congratulations Jim, the first win is yours. Round 1 Jim Butcher | 6 Ber'Gin'Yon Torg'h | 5 High- 0 High - 0 Parry - 0 Low - 0 Sabre Throw - 0 Sabre Throw - 0 Force Push - 0 Mid - 0 Parry - 0 Sabre Flurry / High - 0 Health: 6 Health: 5 Last they met, Master Butcher's stamina proved too strong and resulted in Ber'gin'Yon's undoing. Now the Jedi have found have come to oppose each other again, the volcanic planet they now stand upon their new arena and a far cry from the wet climate that played host to their last duel. The sky is saturated by the crimson glow of distant volcanoes and lava flows and ash softly decends form the clouds, landing gently upon the Jedi Masters... Lightsabres brightly glowing the Jedi meet with simultaneous over-head strikes, the blades crackling and strobing as each Jedi tries to use their strength to force their opponent down. They break from each other, striking and parrying as they seek that moment of exposure yet again. Jim throws his lightsabre, sending it spinning through the air but this time Torg'h is ready, sending his own blade arcing through the air and smashing Jim's off course. The sabres return to their hands and they rush into melee yet again, Force powers and sweeping blades failing to give either an edge over their opponent... Round 2 Jim Butcher | 6 Ber'Gin'Yon Torg'h | 5 Low - 0 High - 1 Parry - 0 Sabre Throw - 0 Low - 1 Kick - 0 Sabre Throw - 1 Kick - 0 Force Push - 0 Sabre Flurry / Mid - 0 Health: 5 Health: 3 A distant volcano erupts with a magnitude of force that cause the ground to shudder beneath the Jedi Masters' feet. The sudden interruption does nothing to sway their focus, as they pace around each other, their lightsabres poised; blue in a landscape of reds. The initial stalemate is broken as Jedi Master Ber'Gin'Yon flies at Jim striking him off-guard with his deadly lightsabre; he draws back, twists, and throws his blade at his dazed rival. But Jim regains his composure quickly and parries, Torg'h's blade bouncing off his sabre. The tables turned, he rushes into melee and slashes at Ber'Gin'Yon causing him to lash back and leave himself exposed. Jim returns the gesture, throwing his own lighsabre and striking home, further injuring Torg'h. His blade back in hand, Torg'h strikes out at his opponent Jedi seeking to catch him in a deadly blossom of blue light but Jim Butcher expels a wall of Force energy thwartin his attack. Ber'Gin'Yon grips his lightsabre hilt tighter in determination... it's now or never... Intense! Please send your Duel Sequence for round 3 when you're ready.

ROUND 3 JIM BUTCHER | 5 BER'GIN'YON TORG'H | 3 The scene shatters around the dueling Jedi, as volcanic fissures tear the plain apart. Fire and burning ash fill the air, and the two figures suddenly find themselves fighting at the pointed edge of a cliff as the surrounding ground tumbles away into super-heated magma. The frantic duel appears to mirror the chaos of the landscape, glowing blue blades tracing vibrant patterns, violently crashing together and deflecting, flung spinning into the airand brought crashing together again... MID - 0 SABRE THROW- 1 MID - 0 LOW - 1 Master Ber'Gin'Yon throws his sabre with all his might, focusing it's arcing tradjecotry and smashing Jim towards the edge of the cliff. Loose debris falls away into oblivion as he regains his footing - only to loose it again as Torg'h dashes towards him, slicing low and sweeping his legs out from under him. Jim keels over the edge of the precipice, barely grabbing the crumbling edge, caught in the intense heat radiating from below. FORCE PUSH - 0 MID - 0 Torg'h sees the rival Jedi flip suddenly up into the air and overhead, his shape a blur, landing safely on the platform behind him. He spins quickly, aiming a calculated strike at Jim, but the Jedi Master seems to know his opponents thoughts, a wall of Force energy blasting a channel of debris towards Ber'Gin'Yon and pushing the Jedi Master backwards. SABRE THROW - 1 SABRE FLURRY / LOW - 0 His guard down, Torg'h glances up to see Jim's lightsabre spinning towards him but he can't react quickly enough... MID - 1 HIGH - 0 The blade rebounds and is as quickly wielder by Jim Butcher again, uncanny speed carrying him into melee again as he slashes outwards with his sabre, catching Ber'Gin'Yon across his chest and sending him spilling over the cliff point and towards the fiery chaos below. Torg'h realises the truth of things all too late... ...but he is falling no more. Looking up he sees Jim clutching at his clothing. His heart skips a beat. "It's you," he cries, "I see it now!" Jim Butcher smiles the Jedi and pulls him from danger. Overhead a sleek Jedi Shuttle descends from the ruddy clouds. "Come Ber'Gin my friend. We have a galaxy to make right..." HEALTH: 3 HEALTH: 1 Warmest congratulations Jim, you are truly the Chosen One! And congratualtions to Walter for a well fought 2nd place. This Sith Learner looks highly upon both of you and would like to have the same dueling skills as you in the future. Hoping that our paths will cross someday.... A job well done too, pedro. Walter had a good strategy in using Kicks against you in round 2 as you'd been parrying a lot. Unfortunately they were mis-timed and it backfired leaving you in a stronger position. You're duels were taut affairs and very entertaining to Adjudicate! Feel free to use the pic for your character profile.

I'd also like to thank Pedro for organizing and adjudicating the entire tournament. It has been fun. I can't wait to see what kind of changes you have in mind for Jedi Duel 2.0!
