This little scene here shows Lara Croft diving in the Mediterranean Sea near some sunken ancient Greek ruins looking for

During the built I tried some new things and am quite happy with the result, especially the angled "broken" column and the "floating" Lara, as well as the self made sticker for the torso.

Alright enough talking, here are some pictures.

Thanks for looking!

This is not bad, but I think the sand could use more lumps and bumps, the sand on the ocean floor is not perfectly flat you know! Also a few sea-creatures wouldn't hurt.

Nice work though! Keep it up.

Very nice! I love how you achieved a very natural swimming position for Lara. I'm not familiar with that fishy blue creature/headpiece?, is it something from the Atlantis theme?

Yeah, it's the Manta Warrior headpiece. :classic:

Great MOC! The torso decal looks nice and really suits the Lara minifig.

Thanks to you all! Yep that´s the Manta Warrior headpiece, I just bought the small Impulse set with the minifigure and thought that would look great in this MOC. The swimming position and the torso decal were really the hardest part of it all, I guess that´s what distracted me a bit from the details. Next time I´ll try to focus a bit more on that. Thanks again for all the great comments!

The picture is a little bit low quality, probably because of an old camera or bad lighting, but I LOVE IT because of that. It makes it look blurry, like shes actually underwater!

Cool little vignette, Adrian86. It would make a fantastic backdrop for a goldfish bowl! The way you've connected the diver is, as others have pointed out, very clever, and your use of the headgear for an animal is nice too. The only thing I'd change is the yellow tint of the pictures. Otherwise, a very solid MOC.

*Edited: I used the wrong screen name! Sorry Adrian! :hmpf_bad: *

You´re right, it would work perfectly as a gold fish bowl background ;-)

I´ve used a pretty old camera, next time I´ll try to borrow a better one. Lara is attached to the wall via an angular brick and secured with a stick, otherwise she would be constantly falling off.
