ThatGuyWithTheBricks Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Hi, I'm collecting a nice redcoat army, but I'm wondering what to do with my old redcoats. I was thinking sailors, but there are still some regular soldiers... Quote
Nosaj Posted September 13, 2010 Posted September 13, 2010 Keep them. If you dont want to use them with your now army, you can always use them in some MOCs or something. Quote
Piratedave84 Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 Make them be a special unit, marines vs. fusilier or soldiers as an example. Make them an elite infantry unit ... Marines were dressed differently than infantry units anyways, why not keep them and make your army bigger!!!! Pirate Quote
Brig. Brick Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 You can be use them as target practice for bluecoats or pirates, but if you want to keep as lobsters, well you can put as sailors (without shakos) or gunners, I guess Quote
Andre1983nl Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 Photo? How many old ones do you have? Greetings André Quote
Ratshot Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 Turn them into artillery men or sailors, don't sell them as some of the others have suggested. You'll regret it in years to come if your still into Lego, especially Pirates Quote
Capn Frank Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 Hi, I'm collecting a nice redcoat army, but I'm wondering what to do with my old redcoats. I was thinking sailors, but there are still some regular soldiers... Just a thought, but you could use both of your old and new red coats in MOCs. I would just keep them separate per regiment or MOC. Some MOCs could have the old style and other MOCs can have the new style. I think of the new red coats as a uniform upgrade, and not all uniforms will be able to be upgraded at the same time. Quote

And Phred, I mean for an army, not MOCs. Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 I would keep them for a couple of reasons: - They might be old, but they still do very well in MOCs. - They are worth a lot of money already, that ammount will increase even more in the future since they become even more rare. If you plan to sell them, just wait to get even more out of it. Just my suggestions. Personally I would certainly keep them forever. Quote
koshi Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 ILL BUY THEM!! im trying to make an army of OLD redcoats. i have way to many new ones and believe that the classics were better. I only have 2 old redcoats and 16 old bluecoats, but unfortunatley im a redcoat. i have about 32 NEW redcoats... And i dont even like them!!! Quote
Emperor Claudius Rome Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 How about use them as a different kid of Infantry unit. Quote
