Posted September 16, 201014 yr Here's some pics of the victorian house Im currently working on. It's still a WIP cause there are plenty of details Im not happy with. All comments/advices are welcome The whole house (all levels assembled) : 1st floor only : 2nd floor : Top level :
September 16, 201014 yr The house looks great! I really like the staircase and the spiral stairs; awesome detail! The roof looks really nice and I know those can be a bit of a challenge. I think the grey railing looks nice, though I personally would have just been consistent with the torch holders instead of using the skeleton feet on the second floor balcony, but it looks like you were going for a slightly shorter railing on that floor. Great job and very impressive! Care to post the estimated price?
September 16, 201014 yr Author Care to post the estimated price? Can't upload it to DbM (even if I delete all non-buyable bricks) to check the model's price, sorry.
September 16, 201014 yr Very nice LDD house 'tiammath' - the frontage and that sweet internal staircase are just so beautiful - excellent work and I'm a conformist! !
September 17, 201014 yr Great design tiammath! I'm not much of a modular building expert, but I must say the triple-sided window is very unique and well-done. The stair railings and porch railings are cleverly done too using the telescope and cone pieces. Hope to see this in real brickbuild soon.
September 17, 201014 yr This is a very beautiful modual model you designed. Is the plan to brickbuild it when you are satisfied with the design? Like the rest I must say that your stair railings is really looking lovely.

Like the rest I must say that your stair railings is really looking lovely. I actually plan to build it in real bricks and that's why I'm not totally satisfied with my MOC for now, cause it uses many bricks I don't have. So I'm looking for subsitutions, for the telescope/spyglass in white, for example.
September 17, 201014 yr Can't wait to see this build with real bricks, maybe you could use withe cups as substituted for those withe telescope pieces. + + the Inventor

Will probably have to use light gray bricks instead of white, though. Hope it will not look too gray at the end.
September 18, 201014 yr Nice building, especially the balcony/entrance on the the first floor. I am not really sure about the roof, but I don't know exactly why. Somehow it looks too large and too low. The black roof itself and the white edge with the arched window look good. Maybe it would look better without the white horizontal ledge on the bottom of the roof and window.
September 18, 201014 yr I just got an idea. Maybe you could send me the LXF File of your house, and combine it with mine and Danpb's houses, since they look very similar.
September 18, 201014 yr Author Well, since I wasn't happy at all with the back of my MOC, I decided to make a "dual sided" MOC. So, when I want to change the front side of my MOC, I just turn it. Side A : Side B : Modules (with only circular stairs) : New floor level (with new railing style) : I'm now working on making two different roof fronts. Edited September 18, 201014 yr by tiammath
