I spotted her in Heroica. The golden guy I meant was the trophy in Champion. The kid on the box is holding it up and there's no printing on it.

kinda an insipid little musing from me: caveman makes a great giant for heroica. when we figure out how that's played, I'm gonna have to work him in

full minifig sized heroica set ups are what im looking forward to doing.

I noticed that the Frog Rush and Monkey/Banada games are not available in North America but are available in Europe on S@H. Will they eventually be released in NA or are they not going to be available here?

I don't know about Frog Rush yet, but I've personally seen Banana Balance at the local Toys 'R' Us here in Tallahassee, Florida. They seem to have just gotten it within the past week or so, along with Pirate Plank, another newer game not yet available through Shop at Home in the US.

Wow, I like the ghost. I use the microfigs as wall and pillar carvings a lot and the only other tan one is a pirate.

Flicking through PaulNomad's album, here's a very nice shot of the new weapons:

It also seems that the wierd names like Fortaan, etc. are Danish? Does anybody know? The boxes all have regular English names like Castle, Haunted Forest etc.

The box names are preliminary. So Fortaan's real name (as printed on its name card at the event) is "Fortaan Castle", Waldurk's is "Waldurk Forest", etc.

I wish those were in pearl light bley or pearl dark bley.

Flickr user PaulNomad just uploaded several LEGO Games pictures from ToyFair. Most is stuff we've seen, but I figured I'd link to a couple of his close-ups of microfigures:

LEGO Champion microfigures

Draida Bay troll microfigures

Waldurk Forest ghost microfigure

Small easter egg for those paying attention

Heroica Dice Side

The runes around the outside spell HEROICA (repeated three times)

Very nice microfig printing and love those new weapons. The boards themselfs are very neat done too.

Simple but very effective to me.

@Chromeknight:

I cant see or make the word Heroica on the dice. I can hardly make from what I see; NMRF or something like that.

Or what should I see?

The 'letters' NMRF etc, are actually runes. an old way of writing (goes with the fantasy theme)

see Wikipedia: Runes for more info.

Wow the printing on the Heroica microfigs is fantastic!

If only they had used that kind of fantasy printing on the Fantasy Era Castle factions. I now want a brand new fantasy line with orcs like the ones shown here!

On a more relevant note, I would love to see different realms made for this game.

Other Lego Games are gonna be a great source for heroes, villains and monsters etc. Imagine:

1) a Mummy level set in Egypt with temples and a Pharaoh,

2) an undead level with skeletons

The list goes on..

Very cool, nice spot. It's using this alphabet, I think:

As I thougt so, this should be an acient alphbet or something. Very cool find!

I was hoping any of the Heroica Boardgames would be release sooner. But they seem to be planned for in August.

I found the $10 banana game at TRU today! It was behind the Atlantis Treasure, and they didn't have any of the other games. Was this a freak accident, or are they supposed to be out soon?

That's due for release in March in the States, along with Pirate Plank. Maybe one or two others, I'm not sure. Seems like you got a week or two's head start

Unfortunately, it seems like what I feared is confirmed: that new helmet appears to be in the largest set only, unless I've missed something.

Still, the Forest is good. Green tiles (which I might need), trans-blue axe heads and extra weapons, yay. :classic:

A bit off-topic, but it seems that many of the sets in the line aren't going to be released here. I'm annoyed that Orient Bazaar didn't seem to make it, and even the recent Sunblock game seems to be missing. :sceptic:

In Poland we have the new games already. But I never seen Orient bazaar too. And I wanted it so badly...

I mentioned earlier (self-quote below) that I've seen Banana Balance and Pirate Plank at my own local TRU; they first appeared there at least a week ago, though I don't know the exact date. TRU does have a longstanding tendency to be the first vendor to get a lot of the newest LEGO products, though, of course. I'm sure lots of US TRU stores have those two games now.

I'm particularly annoyed that neither of the games with classic space microfigs have made it to the states. Perhaps the games in general are not as successful in the US, or perhaps when the games were released previously in Europe those were some of the less popular ones, and LEGO didn't bother trying to market them here. As for Sunblock, it's possible that it will just get a later release here, or that it will be a "Special Edition" exclusive to certain stores (kind of like what happened with Magma Monster).

Neither Lunar Command nor Meteor Strike were widely available in Ireland. It may be a different story on the continent, but Lunar Command was only available through Amazon for me, while Meteor Strike was a Tesco-exclusive. They can't be basing their decision off popularity because the distribution prevents them from measuring that....

Retailers want to be stocked with real LEGO sets, not games. But I'll get those Heroica if it's the last thing I do! *oh2*

Ninjago, Frog Rush, Banana Balance & Ramses Return have all been available here since January, but I have not seen any of the others from this wave. We got around half of the games from previous waves so I imagine that this is it this time around too.

The LEGO Store at Mall of America in MN has Frog Rush, Banana Balance and Meteor Strike.
