Zepher Posted November 10, 2010 Author Posted November 10, 2010 The only person I have to check up with is HouseofH. Everyone else has been posting at least once a day. Voting is not a requirement to play.
def Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 You know what's not funny? All the people that signed up for this game and haven't said a thing! Or just are not participating. Do a check Zepher! Get on the ball now! Sorry Zephyr, for calling out the counts in thread. I'm defiant Dick, so I have to do it dickishly. The reason I made the list of non-voters in thread was because of what Stash said, too many not players aren't participating. A few on that list of non-voters are participating for sure, like Kovacs, but others haven't even posted in Day 7's thread (I won't name any names). You should think about PM'ing them a warning to play or be taken out.
Zepher Posted November 10, 2010 Author Posted November 10, 2010 I have considered that a few times. I may put it into play tomorrow if people don't step it up. Everyone who has been telling me to get my megablocks in gear is totally in line, I'm a wreck at hosting currently, so you all have a right to make me look silly and, more importantly, actually fix the blunders I make. I'm just pissed at myself for being so off.
def Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Don't sweat it, you're juggling a lot here, and Shadows and Draggy spammed up the thread yesterday
Fugazi Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Everyone who has been telling me to get my megablocks in gear is totally in line, I'm a wreck at hosting currently (snip) Well it doesn't feel that way, the game is moving along well and every day is puzzling and entertaining, I can't ask for more!
WhiteFang Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 I understand that it can be hard for players to catch up and the host for doing the backend coordination work. However, I don't think it is fair for active players to participate, whereas some of the sleepers fly under the radar. Mind all, I am not suggesting that they are scums. I am also not suggesting to ask everyone to start posting like crazy with those casual talk. The game have progressed to Day 7 and the players could have reduced to a reasonable participation level. Even if these inactive players have other stuff on hand, it is also their responsibility to notify the players and the host. At the same time, I do agrees that "inactive killings" manuiplated by the host can be achieved after warning is sent. It happens in other past mafia games. Ultimately, it is up to the host to decide and weigh against all other criterias. Afterall, you are the main puppetmaster in this game of life.

Didn't that used to be why there where replacements - to replace inactive players? I think it happened in the original Baritones, when Draggy replaced someone on the second day?
Zepher Posted November 10, 2010 Author Posted November 10, 2010 The trouble with this size of a game is that we've already used up our one replacement! I'll take an extra day of night to make sure that all the players will participate.

This cannot be allowed, mainly because the character which have been killed before have prior knowledge and insight of the current game progress in their dead character, unless that character who is killed is a clean soul. But still, it's not encouraged.

Shadows Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 I wouldn't mind if the voting totals were correctly reported. Some people foolishly vote based on them without knowledge of the actual issue, so they should at least be correct.
CorneliusMurdock Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 If you're in need of fresh substitutes, I'm sure there are plenty watching this very entertaining game who would volunteer if asked...
iamded Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Wow, 17 people reading the game thread. Shadows and Draggy sure know how to draw a crowd. <makes a fresh batch of pop-corn>
Peanuts Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Dearest husband (Peanuts), Vote for Stash or you are sleeping on the couch... You know that I am innocent and as I said in my post, it is clearly stupid to continue letting Stash protect the scum. I'm leaving you for Dick tomorrow if you don't start making some sense. All my love, Alice Hey, this ain't fair playing. Are there no rules against leaving the husband during a mafia game?
Eskallon Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Hey, this ain't fair playing. Are there no rules against leaving the husband during a mafia game? I would laugh if Zepher set it up so when either of you die the other commits suicide.
Peanuts Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 I would laugh if Zepher set it up so when either of you die the other commits suicide. Yeah...really funny Or even "funnier", if I commit suicide if she dies, but not vice versa...
HouseofH Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Sorry about my absence, especially as I haven’t participated anyway. I’ve had a lot of personal matters to attend to and haven’t had time to post. Looks like things are stepping up now, so I’ll read back and start participating again if that’s ok?
Captain Genaro Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 I'm going to be gone untill monday and I won't have any internet.
Zepher Posted November 13, 2010 Author Posted November 13, 2010 Thanks for the alert! The new day shall be up midday tomorrow.
RileyC Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 Great! I cant wait to see what's been happening overnight
Bendybadger Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 Thanks for the alert! The new day shall be up midday tomorrow. Yay I look forward to this. Is that date including the usual "a day late" Eurodina curse
Zepher Posted November 13, 2010 Author Posted November 13, 2010 Hopefully not. I have the pictures, just need to upload them and write the day!
