optimus-convoy Posted May 10, 2006 Author Posted May 10, 2006 This Japanese webpage has some pics of a slightly redesigned controller as well as a "classic style" controller for classic games. Plus, here's a video of Zelda gameplay with the Wii remote from Nintendo's press conference. Ohhh yes. *sweet* Quote
Kikuichimonji Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 Mario? Yay! In space? Meh... Still, looks like it'll be an expensive autumn. I plan to get the Wii with Mario, Zelda and possibly Project H.A.M.M.E.R. (1st party games which looks a bit like God of War) or Red Steel (shooter by Ubisoft). Damn, I hate the E3...all it does is make me feel like crap because there's so much good games coming out and that I have to start saving :-/ Quote
SuvieD Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 Nintendo is looking good for this fall. I will wait to make a judgement until after E3 is over though. Nintendo said they would have 20+ games playable starting today and I want to see what the reactions to them is before I decide anything. Looks are decieveing (graphics) gameplay is not. Quote
Jipay Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 Computer games first, console games second, that's how things has to be done after looking at the E3. I already need 3 PC games in september, meaning I'll have to wait to for the WII, not to mention some cool lego sets are out at the same time ! I fully agree with you SUivieD, the graphics are not on top at all ! But I think it has always been the case with nintendo, except at the super famicom period Quote
optimus-convoy Posted May 11, 2006 Author Posted May 11, 2006 The first ever trailer for the new Smash Bros. game titled "Brawl" has been released, along with an official site. Such a wonderful trailer :'-), and with some very interesting newcomers. ;-) Quote
Kikuichimonji Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 I saw it a couple of hours ago. Wario was to be expected, and I kinda expected Pit too. Metaknight looks great, looks like he has some good, fast swordplay (which I'm always a fan off; SSB:M only had slow(er) swordplay (Link, Roy, Marth)). Zero Suit Samus? With a lightsaber? Meh, I don't think they should give her a sword, other then that, I like the fact that we get to play with the woman underneath the suit (you know what I mean...) And then...there's Solid Snake. So cool. Best new character out of the bunch. I read that Hideo Kojima actually asked Nintendo if they could put Snake in. Great move *wub* Quote
JoeMI6 Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 I thought that this was going to be my year for buying mainly lego. But it looks like Nintendo will once again take over my life with this amazing new console. Quote
