Chris Phipson Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Hello again EB! Here’s some of my recent foray into the Castle theme. These are just single pics of four different posts in my “Chronicles of Carrith Knorr” series. There’s some fun little jokes and stories that go with each of them so I invite you to stop in and see the whole story. If you decide to check them out on MOCpages for the stories, read them in the order posted below. Chateau, tower, Gate and then Wizard’s aid last. Chateau of Carrith Knorr: My FIRST real castle moc EVER! Tower of Harold: The lighting really made the lava on this one POP! The Gate of Carrith Knorr: Oooo, curved walls are always fun! A Wizard’s Aid: Ok, who DIDN'T want a treehouse like this when they were a kid? Here’s a link to the folder where each moc is posted over on MOCpages! http://mocpages.com/folder.php/103692 Till next time true believers! ~Chris. Quote
Vindicare Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Very cool and well built MOCs....ok, maybe not the tower, but the others are. Good humor in the stories, as well. Quote
TLV Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 those are some lovely mocs. I really like any mocs with rivers/lakes/waterfalls built into them. Quote
Bingo Little Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Great fantasy ish MoCs - and good humour too! Reading your background text for the Chateau, any chance you're doing a proper castle any time soon? It looks like you're more than up to the challenge! Quote
I Scream Clone Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Chris it's great to see you venture into Castle themed MOC's, I have enjoyed reading through this series and had a good laugh too. Perhaps some constructive criticism , rather than just crticism would be more beneficial to Chris. Quote

Not true, I sid well built MOCs, meaning all 4 of them. then, what I said about the tower *jokingly* because if you looked at his other pictures, you would have noticed hid tower had gotten knocked over, hence not being well built. So, don't get all jumpy, I wouldn't say theyre well built if I didn't mean it. Quote

I have read all of Chris's threads and seen the collapsing tower before. Please do not insult a staff member in future in your replies. Words like "if you looked" and "don't get all jumpy" are insulting. I am merely trying to help out builders to improve their skills by asking members to critique creations creatively. This is an adult site after all and I volunteer my time to keep the History forum a welcome place where Castle fans are happy to mingle and show off their creations. Quote
captain crossbricks Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 Nice moc! I love the tree house and everything else is good too Quote

Well, it appears we both mistook(mistook?...doesn't sound right), let's say misread each others reply, so let's leave it at that. Just to clear the air with Chris, I meant no disrespect in my first reply. I was merely joking. All your creations are stunning, I especially like the waterfall. Don't sweat it dude, after reading through it I got what you were saying. And yes... that's funny! (for those that didn't see the original post on mocpages, the tower was blown over by wind while taking pics outside. Legocrazy's comment was reflecting that.) Thanks ISC for coming to my defense also. Even though it was a misread originally, it's awesome to know that people like you are here to keep the peace. Thanks man! I owe you a superdawg! ~Chris.
