Posted September 21, 201014 yr The hard part about building steamers is getting 'em to go around curves! After that they're pretty easy. I wanted this to have the feel of a early railroading era engine. A newly built line's first engine, for example. Maybe 1840's-ish? The front is solid and the back truck has to swivels to allow sideways motion on the curves
September 21, 201014 yr This is a real C&C - that's CUTE and CLEVER - excellent piece of designing there 'Unitron6991' and I'm a conformist! !
September 22, 201014 yr Nice job, captures the look of an early steamer well. Do you have any larger close up shots of the way you've articulated the rear truck? I can't quite tell from the picture. --Tony
