Zane Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 Ah, you gotta press start and select an extra to turn on. I bought Chewie Carrying C-3PO. XD Quote
xwingyoda Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 Lucky you English people to get the game early ;-) G I have to wait tuesday/wednesday to get it |-/ Tks for all your insights so far hehe. The more I read comments like that, the more I want to play asap ;-) Play On !! *yoda* Quote
Lord Thrawn Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 I am stuck on the Sailbarge level. I get to the gun, destroy the right rotating target, but the left just absorbs all my shots. Yes, they're free of the boxes. The disadvantage to getting it early is there is no online help. :-( Quote
Zane Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 Go back to the targets and look around. I only remember that it needs blowing up with two boxes either side of it. And on the level in Hoth, where you have to escape from the base with Han, Leia and C-3P0, what do you do when there's the door with 'mesh' over, a cannon to be build, a train thing on the right (which you send down the corridor to the room on the left to blow the door open) and the room on the left with four buttons on the floor? I just finished the last level. The Death Star II is just the image from S@H minus the stand and laser. -_- At the start you have to torpedo down four or five playset-style ISDs. Quote
UltraPrime Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 Decided to trade in a few old games and picked it up today. Will give it a go later... Quote
Zarkan Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 I'm getting this game somehow. I'll probably sell some of my RTS games to buy it, but I sure hope I can ge it soon, as it looks so much better than the first LSW game. I'm quite surprised that Gamespot only gave it a 7.7, I'd figured that they would at least bump it up to an 8.0, as the first game got a 7.5. Then again, Gamespot is pretty tough in reviews... :-| Quote
xwingyoda Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 I need your help guys and gals !! I will buy it on the 13 but I wonder on what system should I buy it: PS2 or Cube ????? Quality wise, I think the Cube version will be slightly better BUT I have the first n PS2, and if I buy the PS2 version, I can have all the playable characters (50) of LSW in LSW2 |-/ So what would you advise me ? Many tks in advance ;-) *yoda* Quote

Starwars4J Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 Hey guys, I asked on a Star Wars forum, but I thought I'd check here too ;-) Out of the DS version and the GCN version, which should I get? I mean is there really that big of a difference between the two to lose on the portability of the DS? Quote
Echo Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 I am trying to decide if I should get it at TRU and get a 5$ gift card, or from Circuit City amd get a free t-shirt that has a picture of LEGO Chewie with a stormtrooper helmet sitting atop his over-sized head on it. Quote

Andrex Posted September 11, 2006 Author Posted September 11, 2006 Get the PS2 version! Then you can transfer over characters etc ^^ it's fun! Quote
Zane Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 The DS and home consolde versions are a lot different, I believe... Can anyone help me on Hoth? Quote

Lord Thrawn Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 That's a cool shirt. I'd very much like to get one, if they were in the UK. My bug still isn't fixed, and I'm hoping a patch will arrive for it on XBox Live soon. Quote

Zane Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 I found a 'glitch'. On the Escape from Hoth Base level thing, don't open the door with 3PO until you've blown up the stuff covering the rest of it, otherwise the blasts from the gun will just deflect. Quote
Andrex Posted September 12, 2006 Author Posted September 12, 2006 Haha, on the Death Star I managed to build some random thing without opening the door in which the pieces were O.o. Quote
Ras 74 Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 You lucky bastards! I found out that LSW II will not be released today... but on friday! Why are we always so previously choosen to get everything LAST!! Quote
xwingyoda Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Oh boy that game is addictive !! Its going to take much longer to finish it at 100% !! The levels are bigger and longer which is great and also the number of special items is far greater !! (canisters + gold bicks + red bricks + jedi status in BOTH modes - story and free play) X-O Also is it me or the canisters are more difficult to get than on LSW ? Game On !! *yoda* Quote
Ras 74 Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 GGGGGGgggggg *sing* *sing* *sweet* ...on friday!!! Quote
UltraPrime Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 I'm loving this game sooooo much! I never played the first one (will have to pick that up sometime!), so didn't think it would be this good. I'm taking my time with it - getting True Jedi in both Story and Free before moving on to next chapter. Just completed Episode IV, so onto Hoth now... Quote
xwingyoda Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 I thought I woud share something I just discovered playing freely in Mos Eisley (just before entering the Falcon) There is a movie theater playing Lego SW hehe. You need to enter with R2, then BLAST EVERYTHING !! That area is a X2 zone and you need to destroy the chairs, the lights and...the screen !! That gives you really easilly True Jedi Status and a canister behind the screen ;-) Enjoy !! Play On !! *yoda* Quote
Zane Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 Heh, I love the ending clip for episode 5 - with Lukes new hand attacking everyone. XD There's also a room on the very first level that lets you eject bathing Stormtroopers into space with C-3PO. Quote
