Calanon Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 Mhm, will have to check with parents but I would love to go and meet up with more LEGO fans, I barely know any where I live... about two people at most and they aren't hugely interested. If I do go it will be with my Mum but she'll probably wander off somewhere to read a book or something. Quote
KimT Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Are you referring to the Dobberman, or the mecha dogs? Dobberman was in Günzburg first year, right? Definatelty mecha dogs! Quote

snefroe Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Glad you are coming too Johan! Maybe we'll have another chance to sing some Dutch schlagers i think that would resolve the problem of maybe not having enough accomodations! i remember last time we went there. the group was quite large too and it was a long trip on foot... the discount tent made us all forget that, though! Quarryman Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Dutch schlagers, eh? I have a feeling I'm going to need more to drink this time Quote
Legostein Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 Hello everybody! It will be a pleasure meeting you all in person in June 2011. I still regret not having been able to join this year. With the more regular working times I have in my new job, I can plan the trip right now, and hope we'll have a great time! Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
Peppermint_M Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Dutch schlagers, eh? I have a feeling I'm going to need more to drink this time Well, the amount of beer you are ordering means that shan't be a problem Quote
Ras 74 Posted November 15, 2010 Author Posted November 15, 2010 Glad to see that you are trying to join us next year Legostein!! And Sne as well! Looks like we all will need to drink a lot Quarry!! Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted November 15, 2010 Eurobricks Emperor Posted November 15, 2010 I count already 42 participants for the event Quote
Superkalle Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 42! That's the answer to the question, isn't it? Anyway, I assume we need to start looking into accomodations if we're all going to be in one place for evening fun (bumping Ras-the-man a bit) Quote

Tobbe Arnesson Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 I vote for a 5 star hotel for loose change - Do It Now Ras! A 5 star hotel on Ras expense would work dandy as well! Quote
Dan the Brickman Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 I am very much there, the dates are great and it is only 2 hours by train to London. er, how long is it from Idaho? (USA) Actually, how much do you think it would cost, for tickets, hotels and such from another country? Quote
Peppermint_M Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 er, how long is it from Idaho? (USA) Actually, how much do you think it would cost, for tickets, hotels and such from another country? Well, you got a website for booking a ticket on an airplane from somewhere near you to Heathrow or Gatwick (two airports by London) and it gives you a cost. You could also phone a booking service or get a package deal. That's how I made it to Kelowna in Canada last year. It cost me over £900 for a return ticket and my stay was free with family so I can assume it would possibly cost a little less to get from the US to London, but hotel stays aren't cheap in the city and you might have to factor into the cost the internal flights or travel you need to take to get from your home to an international airport that flies planes to the UK. In conclusion, it will cost rather a large amount. Just as I am expecting my BrickWorld trip to cost. Quote
Holodoc Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 i'll come too Wohoooo! Definitely for that! Quote
NovaStar Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 My partner and I should be able to be there (and we live relatively close) Quote
