Mhm, will have to check with parents but I would love to go and meet up with more LEGO fans, I barely know any where I live... about two people at most and they aren't hugely interested.

If I do go it will be with my Mum but she'll probably wander off somewhere to read a book or something. :classic:

Glad you are coming too Johan! Maybe we'll have another chance to sing some Dutch schlagers

i think that would resolve the problem of maybe not having enough accomodations!

i remember last time we went there. the group was quite large too and it was a long trip on foot... the discount tent made us all forget that, though!

Hello everybody!

It will be a pleasure meeting you all in person in June 2011. I still regret not having been able to join this year. With the more regular working times I have in my new job, I can plan the trip right now, and hope we'll have a great time! :classic:

Cheers,

42! That's the answer to the question, isn't it?

Anyway, I assume we need to start looking into accomodations if we're all going to be in one place for evening fun (bumping Ras-the-man a bit)

Yes, but again - what´s the question !

I vote for a 5 star hotel for loose change - Do It Now Ras!

I am very much there, the dates are great and it is only 2 hours by train to London.

er, how long is it from Idaho? (USA) :look:

Actually, how much do you think it would cost, for tickets, hotels and such from another country?

Well, you got a website for booking a ticket on an airplane from somewhere near you to Heathrow or Gatwick (two airports by London) and it gives you a cost. You could also phone a booking service or get a package deal.

That's how I made it to Kelowna in Canada last year. It cost me over £900 for a return ticket and my stay was free with family so I can assume it would possibly cost a little less to get from the US to London, but hotel stays aren't cheap in the city and you might have to factor into the cost the internal flights or travel you need to take to get from your home to an international airport that flies planes to the UK.

In conclusion, it will cost rather a large amount. Just as I am expecting my BrickWorld trip to cost.
