Hound Knight Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 From the comic series of the same name by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo . Enjoy! Quote
Siegfried Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 It's pretty darn good... but Asterix seems odd without his giant nose! It's 100% clear who he's supposed to be though. Quote
The Penguin Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 A very fine custom, indeed. he looks a bit odd as a ninifig, in such square proportions, but overall very well done! ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! ) Quote

I run into that problem frequently when trying to render cartoon characters as minifigs. I'm still trying to work out a recognizable solution for Dr. O'Shay/ Prof. Ochanomizu/ Dr. Elefun from Astro Boy! Holodoc Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 It's pretty darn good... but Asterix seems odd without his giant nose! Yeah, the face looks a bit weird... It's 100% clear who he's supposed to be though. ... but that's mainly because of the very brilliant remains of the body and the helmet. Quote
Artanis I Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 Pretty good considering what's available! I'd like to see a bigger moustache, round gourd, white wings & big nose but he looks great as he is, well done. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 Looks great! Perfect minifig version of Asterix, couldn't have done it any better. Quote
prateek Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 The face is just hilarious! I love how the helmet and the feathers fit Asterix's comic version perfectly! Quote
Masked Builder Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 Lovely! I really like his comic series. It's pretty darn good... but Asterix seems odd without his giant nose! It's 100% clear who he's supposed to be though. Agreed. Quote
not-in-use-anymore Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 If you had shorter legs he'd look even better! Quote
