---Vertea--- Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 i Hope that in the Instructions there are better pictures of Rotor and Van, they caught me much attention Very much so. The orange helmet makes me happy. Rotor looks the most promising, though Von Nebula might turn out pretty good. Quote

Artahn Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 May I ask, how does VBBN get the instructions so early? Quote
ultimate antrozek Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 May I ask, how does VBBN get the instructions so early? The mafia is involed. I tell you Artahn, It's the Mafia. Anyone noticed that the boxes of the Villains looks like they're made of the same material of the canisters of the 2006 Knights Kingdom? You know. Sheet or Metal Quote
Artahn Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 I just want boxes this time around; no use on wasting money. Quote
CabooseBM Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 I just want boxes this time around; no use on wasting money. Gods yes! This and only this! As far as I'm concerned Canisters are wastes of money. Quote
Artahn Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 If we're lucky, they could be packaged like the 2007 titans; it looks like metal, but its really just cool box art Quote
cheesey skrall Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 hero factory trailer! Right here! Quote
Bfahome Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Hah, so it's not even guys in suits. Just straight robots. Trailer was neat for showing the construction. Overuse of the word "hero" was a bit annoying though. :| Quote
ShaddowCroc Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Wow . . . That actually made this line look pretty cool. It even had the BIONICLE narrator . . . Maybe Hero Factory won't suck like I thought it would . . . Quote
80 Dollar Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Wow, that video was amazing...even thought I like this red character the least I still enjoyed seeing those new pieces. Those arms are bugging me so much! Are they bendable or not?! Quote
Oky Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 That looks pretty cool. I'm actually quite digging this line, much more so than Bionicle to be honest. I might actually get one or two of them. The trailer is cool, but the end kind of cracks me up... "Hero Factory - We build Heroes"... Well DUH! Something like "Where Heroes are built" would have sounded better IMO. Oh well. Quote
God Iron Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Actually... That was pretty good. That said though, the morals are horrible in this. 1. There saying current heroes are rubbish. 2. There saying you can't be a hero unless you have super-powers. (You would call most Police/Fire Fighters heroes, right?) 3. Promoting eco-unfriendiness. (Building a hero for each different mission) 4. Promoting messing with time Quote
jeswal Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 I have to say, this line looks quite promising. Not only are we given an awesome new trailer with top-notch CGI and narration, but also great (At least in my opinion) new sets and an interesting, if not especially deep story. And from what I can deduce, I also think this is one of the greatest decisions TLG has ever made in terms of story+figures. I'm assuming that the story revolves around Villains traveling through time and causing all sorts of mayhem for the time stream. These Heroes are then built according to the mission, and dispatched through time and space to combat the threat, and restore the time stream to it's correct state. Which means TLG can make all kinds of different Heroes ands Villains, and place them in various settings, and make it all work. Hell, they could even do a year where the Villains win, and the Heroes have to combat a changed present as well as working to fix the past! All in all, Hero Factory seems like it's going to be a pretty great line to me. The only thing I really can complain about is those specialized pieces. I mean, it's going to be rather hard to find a way to use that leg armor or those weapon arms. Quote
Bfahome Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Those arms are bugging me so much! Are they bendable or not?! I think the new trailer, showing that the arms and legs are the same, answer that question, since one-piece leg armor wouldn't work too well if it didn't bend with the leg. Sooo… I doubt it. Quote
