I'm not sure if I'll get any of these-- I'm afraid that I might not be able to manage on a college budget, especially with so many hot System sets just over the horizon. It's probably something I'll enjoy from afar, like Galidor.

Of course, I can't say that I'll hold to that. A lot of these are pretty awesome. Corroder impresses me as far as stylistic consistency goes, and Von Nebula and Rotor are both pretty cool.

Hmm, Meltdown, Stormer and Furno Bike. One from each catagory.

Not sure, but I think I'll try for Surge and Rotor first. Then Breez, Stormer, and Meltdown. Not sure about Meltdown though.

One interesting observation though is the villains seem to ditch the traditional color schemes- yellow, silver and orange, which normally are all brown set replacement colors are present. No white though...

There have never been all that many white sets. In early 2007, the only white BIONICLE set was Pridak. In early 2001, the only white set was Kopaka. So until we've seen more than a half a year of sets, it's a bit early to be making assumptions.

I was a bit confused about colours on a set, but ended up posting either nonsense or something "slightly" confidential.

Yepp, Lego registered a new domain for this theme. I just thought that there is something more that just a link to lego.com. :D

Can you say how different it is to the current silver?

I'm not really annoyed that there is a new silver, because we've already dealt with at least three distinct ones over the years. I wouldn't have known that's a new silver from the review, so it can't be that bad.

As for the gunmetal, does this new version have less green in it? If so, I eagerly await it on HF parts.

The color change coming up this year is one that was announced some time ago. Here's a topic that acknowledges that #131 Silver and #148 Dark Grey Metallic have been inconsistent and that they will be replaced by new colors.

I look forward to the new versions and hope they will indeed be superior. However, I've rarely differentiated silver variations in my own MOCs, so I doubt it will give me any problems.

Okay, sorry if this is in the wrong forum... or topic... I'm not really sure. Anyways, remember when Kelly/Bink was talking about watching out for a Hero Factory teaser? I think I have it. Today a Lego magazine came in the mail and I started to look through it. Nothing special, just the Bionicle comic replaced with a Lego Universe comic. Then I came across one page towards the end of the magazine that really stuck out: A HeroFactory Teaser!

The good news is it gives us a phone number. The other good news is Lego registered a domain, which, is not up. The bad news is I don't have a camera. The other other good news is I can describe it for you. There is a picture of two kids by a basketball court, with the basketball hoop being lifted out of the ground by a tentacle-monster alien creature. One kid is taking a picture with his camera, and the other is leaning over, avoiding the tentacle.

Not yet. The only Lego number I used today was the customer service number. I was ordering replacement parts. I got them for free.
