wow! I haven't heard from you in ages? How's the Bionicle community?

I got bored and drifted off.

You know...I don't really know...I have not been paying much attention to BZP (or the community in general) recently, sorry.

I only visit Eurobricks now because I get all the important info (on serials, new sets...) much faster here since we have one big topic for Bionicle and one for Hero Factory. Can't wait to get my hands on the new torso pieces, BTW. :)

(I apologize for the off-topic)

Couldn't you have used a PM system for that? :sceptic:

hm... S'pose you're right.

On topic:

The new torsos look fantastic. I kinda want one of the Ben 10 torsos, tho. The four-armed aspect could look very nice with some HF parts...

Also, I think that the Cores won't be removable. Which kinda limits the armor to only Hero Factory use... A bit of an irritation, methinks :sceptic:

If it's really that big of an issue you could just break them off.

yes, but I'm unfortunately a bit 'purist' when it comes to re-using parts...

Tho I suppose in this case it might be worth it

LEGO is rarely about something non-removable.

Except for the original Bionicle heads.

I don't really mind whether the cores are removable or not, because the chestplate and core seem to be pretty interdependent parts. If they aren't removable and click in place, I hope they come separate in the canister, so that we have a choice to assemble them properly or mix-and-match the colours, as could be done with Bionicle heads.

I'll be pleasantly surprised if the chestplate and core parts look good and are reasonably MOCable separate though.

I can't help noticing that our Bionicle crew has really declined. There are only like 10 of us commenting now. Ah, I miss the good old Bionicle days.... :cry_sad:

Anyway, I do like the look of this theme even more now. I deffinatley think there is a human presence in it, maybe a scientist who created them for world peace.

I think everyone misses the old Bionicle glory days. We need Bob Thompson back. :hmpf:

I think he means crew as in "people who post in this forum".

What exactly do you mean by "old Bionicle glory days?" Because if you're on of the people who thinks 2001-2003 were the only good years, need I remind you that Bob also helped plan out almost all the other years of storyline, up to 2008? Although Greg has been writing the actual books and comics and stuff for a long while, most of the stuff he wrote about was planned from the very begining, including the Metru Nui and Ignika arcs. Only 2009 and 2010 were not in the original plans in any form, and since the former was praised by fans as a great return to "classic Bionicle" glory, I don't see what you're getting at. :sceptic:

I still don't know whether there are humans in the Hero Factory universe or not...can someone please enlighten me?

So far the only media that have hinted at or shown humans are the promotional teaser in the recent LEGO magazine, and the website, but both seem to be like that for advertising purposes. Otherwise, it seems like the Hero Factory universe is inhabited by purely robotic beings.

How can you rule out possible rats down in the sewers ? Every city must have its own rats. Maybe robotic rats ?

Robotic residents, at least.

It seems that way because there humans on the website, interacting with the villainous creatures, but I doubt it. :sceptic: There names definitely have a human aspect to them though.

Well, the pages I visited anyway.

Yes, it seems nothing changed. I can access the page again.
