Siegfried Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Oh, you crazy EB staff and your name changes. You guys are so crazy and fun. But not too fun were you ban each other for no reason, or not fun at all at the point where your incredibly biased mods. Explain? Quote
MagPiesRUs Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 I'd like another crack at a mafia game though It's not too early for Witch Hunt Mafia II is it? Quote
Scouty Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Can it, Scouts. They are both Jim Henson creations. They are both official Muppet projects, so yes, Sesame Street characters are Muppets. Sesame Street is the children's show and The Muppet Show was an adult variety show. It originally aired on Saturday evenings. We used to go to my aunt's house and watch it every Saturday. We would eat pretzel logs and drink pop, and I would play with DUPLO and watch the Muppets. It was my favorite day of the week. All inquiries should be put up with Mr. Watson. He can write down what you want to say to me with his krill notebook. What? He already did? Oh...krill I stand corrected, Mr. Hinckley I did not know they were both related. Like brothers. Or something. Cool factoid Thanks *Ahem* Mr. Watson has a point which he would like to say... Which I shall say it for him. Logically, they are different (in style, etc.) and they both use puppets (in both forms), so my comment is still valid Totally my statement, and not krill's Watson's. Dragonator Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 It's not too early for Witch Hunt Mafia II is it? Burn the witch! Burn her! Then crisp her up and serve with a bloody dressing. MMMmmmmmm! Quote
Eskallon Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Look what I found, maybe another shadows can add to his collection. Quote
blueandwhite Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Remember; don't be a muppet, be happy. Folks should just go with it like Michael Stipe. Quote
Professor Flitwick Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Oh, you crazy EB staff and your name changes. You guys are so crazy and fun. But not too fun were you ban each other for no reason, or not fun at all at the point where your incredibly biased mods May I interget here? These are some of the most leanent mods in the world. Look at me, I created a large fuss in this topic over name changes, at yet they took me in their stride, and haven't even cautioned me with anything. I'm aware of several forums that wouldn't do that. Quote

Look at me, I created a large fuss in this topic over name changes, at yet they took me in their stride, and haven't even cautioned me with anything. I'm aware of several forums that wouldn't do that. You know what, every AFOL I have ever heard of is a good person and nice. I think I know why. We are like Michael Jackson, we never lost that sense of childhood, we stay young and every once and a while we grab those minifigs and create a battle, don't tell me siegfried you haven't done it. In childhood you don't think about committing crimes and um telling people off for not much reason. We keep some of the nice qualities as lego fans. Or I am talking alot of gibberish and have been watching too many movies recently. Quote
-JD- Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 I have never really watched the Muppets or Sesame Street, because like Flitwick I'm just the wrong age. However, I did have a few toys. I remember my mum telling me my Snuffleupagus toy scared me senseless when I was little. It got banished to the second floor after this became apparent. So it's to be expected I jumped a bit when I noticed TheOtters' new avatar. I hope I don't come across it during the sort-out we're having! My friends have shown me the Count and Mahna Mahna videos before, so it was nice to watch them again. It's hilarious to see you all doing this, though! Quote
prateek Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 I'm surprised that a lot of around my age are afraid of Snuffleupagus! He was my favourite, besides Cookie Monster of course. Quote
MetroiD Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 So there's someone out there who actually DOESN'T like Snuffy? For reasons unknown, that makes me rather sad Quote
Emperor Claudius Rome Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Explain? I've been on forums where the staff have been like that. Quote

Look at me, I created a large fuss in this topic over name changes, at yet they took me in their stride, and haven't even cautioned me with anything. I'm aware of several forums that wouldn't do that. I can only assume that's because you didn't do anything wrong. You mearly disagreed with them, and voiced it. So there's someone out there who actually DOESN'T like Snuffy? For reasons unknown, that makes me rather sad I feel your pain, he has always been calm and cool. Not threatening. Quote
The Crazy One Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 No way, the cookie monster is part of Sesame Street? Wow, my childhood was so confused! Oh yeah, the Mods aren't biased, they just get annoyed by members like me! ;) Quote
The Soup Nazi Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 I hope someone makes a muppet for the cosplay contest... Quote
Artanis I Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 So there's someone out there who actually DOESN'T like Snuffy? For reasons unknown, that makes me rather sad I didn't like him either... nor Big Bird (or Elmo, but he came along later). I think he was too daggy for my liking. Not cool enough, haha! Now Oscar the Grouch, he was one cool mofo. Oh yeah, & I didn't like Telly he was such a useless emo, not that I knew that word back then! My favourites were Ernie, Kermit, Oscar, Gonzo, Animal, Cookie Monster, Boober (fraggle) the hecklers, doozers and twiddlebugs. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 I used to watch Sesame Street with my little sister when we were small, I loved the martians most (Yip yip Yip yip. aaaa-huh.) but Oscar and Cookie were close second. Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 I wished us Grand Dukes could do the same for the same short time.....for if I could.....and no one has (as far as I know) said the name.....SUPER GROVER Hello everybody ! I'm a conformist! ! Quote
MetroiD Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 I didn't like him either... Perhaps you were just jealous of his trunk? Quote

Ahhh, the Martians, I almost forgot, they are kind of similar to beaker, who has to be one of my favorite muppets. I wished us Grand Dukes could do the same for the same short time.....for if I could.....and no one has (as far as I know) said the name.....SUPER GROVER Hello everybody ! I'm a conformist! ! I don't mean to speak for the staff because I don't know this for certain, but the name changing games are for staff and fellows only. Usually. Quote
Zarkan Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Shame, shame, Eurobricks Staff - using a prank theme you already used several years ago. I can't be the only one who remembers a similar "glitch" a while back. Oh well, I haven't laughed this hard in a while, so I guess I can't complain. Quote
CMP Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 We are like Michael Jackson...... Please, never say that again. Quote
Eskallon Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 (edited) Please, never say that again. Michael Jackson, Michael Jackson, Michael Jackson Why what's wrong with Michael and why use the wacko smiley. You don't really believe he molested those children after having his own who he cared for so very much, they just wanted money. Oh and also for those thinking that the kids arn't michael's then look again at photos of him and prince. Michael had Vitilgo which is a disease which makes you lose pigment in your skin, this he even officially announced. The disease was also slightly present in his father and is indeed genetic through the family. Now look at the pictures below of prince (All un-edited): (Armpit)(taken on a recent holiday in Hawaii) (Few white spots on neck) (Again Armpit) (arm) So well yeah they were his kids, well Prince and Paris at least but I am sure Blanket too. Anyway my point is that he was a good man and many of the things about him in the press were made up and I absolutely hate it that people judge him because of this. (Oh anyone like my new signiture ) Edited October 4, 2010 by Eskallon Quote
MetroiD Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Erm... I thought this thread was about some muppets that had randomly appeared outta nowhere!? Although he did actually on the show for a few minutes. Quote
