DLuders Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 (edited) In this YouTube video, esrtiece showed a HUGE Lego Technic Car Transporter that can carry the "classic" Lego Technic cars. It uses lots of pneumatics to raise and lower the ramps, and many motors (controlled by a yellow RCX intelligent brick). Maybe it can deliver those cars to your neighborhood! He also posted a short of it rolling along a sidewalk. It's got to be one of the largest self-propelled Lego Technic vehicles in France The Netherlands! Est-ce qu'AFOLs français ont vu ce transporteur de voiture ? Have any French Dutch AFOLs seen this Car Transporter? Edited October 5, 2010 by DLuders Quote
CP5670 Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 It's got to be one of the largest self-propelled Lego Technic vehicles in France! Or the rest of the world, for that matter. It's certainly the largest Technic vehicle I have seen with a powered drivetrain. Technic vehicles of this size typically don't move on their own. All the super cars placed on it give a good sense of its size. Quote
dolittle Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Wow that is huge I am not sure I understand the driving mechanism? Is it one remote controlling several motors in parallel? Quote
Blakbird Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 That's certainly the most Power Puller wheels I have ever seen used in one MOC. They don't even look big here. This thing is insane and, therefore, awesome. I love the way he stiffened the inside of the tires to prevent them from collapsing. Quote
Burf2000 Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 I think this was put on youtube a year or 2 ago, it inspired me a lot, the builder has built some fantastic stuff Quote

esrtiece Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Hello, Let me correct some misunderstandings in this topic. And tell how it worked. The truck was build in 2005. I posted a lot of pictures on Brickshelf. I'm Dutch. A French kid (StuffC)made a presentation of it on Youtube in 2006. I thought that was very nice. Because he mentioned my name, and so. The music he used was illegal. So they took the movie down in 2008. I made contact with him and I placed the presentation back on my own account, with other music. Arround the same time I found back the small movie on an old mobile phone. That movie was made before I stiffened the wheels. And made a lot of other improvements. But I don't have a better movie. So, where did i use the RCX for. There were 3 remote control sets in it. On one of them I attached a rotation sensor on the steering axle. Then 2 motors were used to steer the truck. on My Brickshelf folder you can see all the pictures. Quote
roamingstop Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 Wow... thanks. And erm. That Crane...wow. Quote

Hello mate, your still one of the most inspirational technic builders on youtube if you ask me :) Quote
DLuders Posted October 4, 2010 Author Posted October 4, 2010 @ erstiece: Your Brickshelf folder for the "RC auto-transporter for the large cars" allows AFOLs to study your MOC more closely, and appreciate its construction. I'm wondering, is this Auto Transporter still assembled or was it taken apart? Quote
esrtiece Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 It was taken apart in the same year it was build, 2005! Quote
