General Redwater Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Can someone maybe with a lot of free time complete a list of people that have not said anything. These people may be the ones to look out for. That is preposterous! I didn't say much in the beggining, practically nothing, but I am innocent. Only now can I be active again. if we single them out, we will probably be killing our fellow townspeople. - Red
Admiral Ron Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 I was standing near the pavilion, in case the Senator should require anything. I am extremely devoted to my job and I will stop at nothing to make sure the Senator is protected. I hope that you aren't suspicious of me simply because of my devotion. I want to get out of this too, but I have other duties of high priority. No I wasnt suspicious, just curious, because I didnt recognize the building. There are other people I am suspicious about, but they are from yesterday...
Captain Genaro Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 The mafia had to start off with more than 1 member per family, ok? That's how this works. Also, anyone who has bought clothing from my sales man in the past, there were some issues with the craftmanship and you should contact me a.s.a.p. privately. Your conversation will be kept silent and secretive from all others, but you really should contact me as soon as possible. And we know that there is more than one member in each family how? Having a talk with our godfathers or reading too many books? Also, what is with the italics? Mabey I'm missing something but I really don't like people trying to write in code in public. Word o' caution, buddy, those aren't the best guys to be mockin' or askin' help off of. Arn't the best guys to be asking help of! If you lived in a carboard box on the side of the road, you would see quite a bit of what happens. ( Unless you're dead drunk ) I don't believe that the chief is part of the mafia. I don't know what the other guy planned to do or why he didn't but I would like to know who he was.
The Legonater Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Something just occured to me. What if these guys aren't attacking us because they can't. Don't ask me how, but it makes sence- it would also partially explain them tailing our best men, and trying to recruit people.

Only now can I be active again. if we single them out, we will probably be killing our fellow townspeople. - Red Hmm, you seem Very outspoken here, and are broadcasting that you are innocent. He never said that all who did not post are mafia, he said it would help, with which I agree. I know many of us have not said a word yet, and it is a valid question as to whom they are hiding from. Why can you only be active now? Why say you are innocent when you have no proof? And why are you so outspoken against this list? I do not know your reasons, so if you could shed some light on your statement, it would help the rest of us understand. Susan

KotZ Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 A-alright, here's w-what I th-think: Either the Ch-chief is t-truly innocent, whi-which I believe, or he is a godfather. If he was being inve-ves-vestigated last night, he comes a-across as a Townie due to he b-being either a Townie, or his n-night ability. Another i-idea could be that he may h-have been attacked l-last night, but the k-killer was role-blocked, w-which I think is the more l-likely case. But with o-our bodyguard f-friend, I think h-his killer may have been r-role-blocked as well, b-but c-could there really be more t-than one role-blocker? Right n-now, seeing the St-stylist's wig n-near the mafia me-members' rendevouz p-point, I'm th-thinking St-Stash may be in with the scum, but we d-don't have any ev-evidence yet, so I do-don't think we can make ac-accusations. We need s-some help, and fast, if w-we want to s-survive.
Eskallon Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 But with o-our bodyguard f-friend, I think h-his killer may have been r-role-blocked as well, b-but c-could there really be more t-than one role-blocker? Well there are 42 people in this city so I guess there could be 2 or even 3 role-blockers. Also it would be way too obvious for us if the voice in the sky meant that they were in Stash's place for scum purpose. I reckon that someone was just trying to use their action on Stash.

I still believe there's a possiblilty they're unable to attack us, only persuade us.
Eskallon Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 I still believe there's a possiblilty they're unable to attack us, only persuade us. Huh, can you explain what you mean?
The Legonater Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Huh, can you explain what you mean? As I've said before, " What if these guys aren't attacking us because they can't. Don't ask me how, but it makes sence- it would also partially explain them tailing our best men, and trying to recruit people. "Perhaps they can only pursuade us to lynch a good man.
Eskallon Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Perhaps they can only pursuade us to lynch a good man. Thing is then that would take them ages and eventually we would catch on or they would take over by converting. Really I think that they can only convert until they have a certain number and as they convert say the third would be the killer, so night actions would be added to the mafia as we go along.
Fugazi Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 While I'm glad I didn't die, and neither did my allies, I'm slightly worried about these stalkers everywhere in the city. Who could they be watching? I think we should vote of today- there where noticeably suspicious people yesterday that we should get back to interrogating. I find it interesting that you have allies Mr Hiker... I hope you have chosen them well! Do you already have enough evidence to trust a group of people or are you just one of the scum?
Bob Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 I find it interesting that you have allies Mr Hiker... I hope you have chosen them well! Do you already have enough evidence to trust a group of people or are you just one of the scum? I believe he's referring to all of us as his allies, which could make sense, I suppose. However, he could have formed a smaller group filled with people he trusts. I don't believe he's referring to the scum as his allies. That would blow his cover immediately.
Eskallon Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 I don't believe he's referring to the scum as his allies. That would blow his cover immediately. Yes, maybe but we shouldn't take everything so lightly, we may as well try our best to tackle the mafia. Remember we are meant to be looking out for little speech slips and this may just be one of them.

I see your point, but still I find this curious. Only a day into this mess, it's very difficult to tell ally from foe, and almost no way to be sure of anyone's allegiance (except if one is scum of course). On one hand, it's possible that Mr Hiker has information that we don't have access to. On the other hand, maybe he trusts people that he shouldn't. Either way, it would be nice to hear from him.
KotZ Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 All of t-this acc-accusations remind me of w-what happened to me y-yesterday. But, u-unless we get more evidence, we're s-stuck between a rock and a hard p-place. But I t-think our stylist is b-being set up, now. Does a-anybody have anymore ideas?

Personally, I think our stylist was investigated, and by the sound of it, they found something. I dont know what they could have found, but it may be important.

Yes but if we just don't do anything all day then we are a mess letting ourselves be open to transformation or death at night. If we don't try then there is no way whatsoever which we can win. I say we vote, I will find someone tommorrow morning and vote for them, just rememeber that voting is the only thing many of us can do and if we choose to not use this ability to vote then we have absolutely nothing.
KotZ Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 G-good points from b-both of you. W-while I don't t-think that th-that crazy green h-hair would be left o-out in the open unwittingly, we do n-need to vote. The o-only evidence I see is from Stash, and t-that is still little evidence. So I am l-leaning to voting him off, but I d-don't want to jump to conclusions.
The Crazy One Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Yeah, I think we may have to resort to voting, but it's still risky. I just don't want my friends getting caught up in the night.

Nor do I, but I think we must try to do something today. I'm not eager to kill somebody with such low chances to knock out a scum, but we can't stand here and do nothing.

So what do we know about last night? -Someone tried to kill/convert the Chief, but they either got cold feet or he has some ability we dont know of. -Someone tried the same thing with Ivan, but they were intercepted by someone with a briefcase. -Someone investigates Stash and apparently found something, before they too were intercepted. Am I missing anything?
