RoryoCox Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 The set is now available at my local Lego store for €149.99, sadly I'm not such a big Lego Harry Potter fan, so no review. Hopefully it will appear earlier so I can get my hands on it. It is such a great looking set. Quote
nicoga3000 Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 The set seems amazing, but I'm just not a huge fan of the Harry Potter stuff. This MIGHT be the one set I consider picking up though, since there's SO many wonderful pieces that can be used for modular MOC's. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted December 25, 2010 Posted December 25, 2010 The set is now available on s@h (at least in Switzerland) Happy ordering ;) Quote

GRogall Posted December 27, 2010 Author Posted December 27, 2010 (edited) What does S@H mean? Thanks Shop@Home the Lego online Store Written on my iPhone Edited December 31, 2010 by grogall Quote
roamingstop Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Can anyone tell me if that is dark red windows I see in the Gringotts bank? If so, I will be very happy. Otherwise it will mean my current MOC will require some strange SNOT techniques. Quote

Jeff Huntington Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Where did you purchase it at? I see you're in the USA. The LEGO store in Schaumburg, Illinois. There were 3 on display when I got there, I grabbed one and saw someone behind me in line with one. There was one left when I walked out. Quote
MCNwakeboard Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 I was at the Lego store in Columbus Ohio and the employees were willing to retrieve one from the back for those who asked. Quote

Thanks for checking - Well not a bad problem - my hunt for Dark Red windows continues (currently only found in the Motorised Hogwarts Exclusive set). Edited December 28, 2010 by roamingstudio Quote
Legomaster34 Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 (edited) 3 more days! How funny that my first LEGO exclusive will be my first new line Harry Potter set. I hope the Sorcerer's Stone isn't going to be a red Power Miners crystal, the original version would be better. I do wonder how those pillars on Gringotts stay tilted like that. clouette Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 (edited) Any reviews from Europe, since it's released there already?? Edited December 29, 2010 by clouette Quote
fred67 Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Any reviews from Europe, since it's released there already?? Any reviews from the U.S., because it's already released there, too... I'd do it, but while I bought it yesterday it's actually for my wife to give me for my birthday in a couple of weeks. I also haven't "completed" the reviewers academy. Quote
Duke Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 I think too many of us are put off by the price! Having bought the castle, I can't fork out so much again so soon for another HP set.. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 I received the set today and it is absolutely gorgeous There are some things I noted: - Fred and Georges heads are printed on both sides - Mr Ollivander has an alternative scared impression - My Ollivander minifig came with dark flesh hands instead of light flesh ones (but I don'want to complain, those are pretty rare ) Quote
Floski Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 I have received today the set, and as he said lego-freak, is fantastic! Quote

Bruce Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 When I opened mine I discovered that the manuals and sticker sheet were in a plastic bag with cardboard stiffener. So no mangled manuals or sticker sheet. Hope this continues in future sets. Quote

So no mangled manuals or sticker sheet. Hope this continues in future sets. I got that too, with my version of the "re-release" of the Winter Toy Shop. I do hope they keep it. It looks like LEGO has finally listened to our complaints Edited December 30, 2010 by Geertos13 Quote
tin7_creations Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 It seems so many people have this set already. It won't be available for order on S@H here in Canada until January 1, 2011. Hope someone reviews it soon! Quote
SuperChris Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 It's back-dated on S@H UK already! Gosh, this is man! I wish I'd got my order in soon! Quote
narbilu Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 I got mine yesterday... and WOOHOO, it is even better than I thought. Quote
