Posted October 3, 201014 yr When you look at the customer of LEGO, you will see that book1 of set 8043 (motorized excavator) is gone. There are only book 2 and 3. (sorry for my bad English, if I'ts bad)
October 3, 201014 yr It's been taken off for almost a month now. I guess we'll be getting a new one soon with an update.
October 3, 201014 yr They have taking it out as it has "incorrect" parts listed and construction instructions. It will be back when they start shipping it again.
October 6, 201014 yr They have taking it out as it has "incorrect" parts listed and construction instructions. It will be back when they start shipping it again. Well, actually by now should have been back on the website...but nothing...the new instruction sheet has not even been published on technicbricks. I requested it to Conchas.
October 17, 201014 yr All the manuals are back on line.... at http://us.service.lego.com/en-US/BuildingInstructions/default.aspx. When downloaded as a PDF, the new (replacement) pages are electronic Page 41 (printed Page 33) and electronic Page 45 (printed Page 36). The appearance of the 8043 Book 1 Instructions is a LITTLE BIT different than the Service Pack's replacement pages (see below), but they cover the same steps. October 18, 201014 yr Started rebuilding mine yesterday. The extra items, apart from the new LA 's, are used to add more support for one 16 tooth gear. A longer axle, as opposed to the original axle pin which slots (slides?) into an extra support on the lower beam (connected using two blue axle pins), thus giving it more support when turning..
