There's a new student duelist in Hogwarts, Kestrel Kingfisher, and he immediately challenges anyone for his baptismal duel. Adept Walter Kovacs grabs the opportunity to take on the newcomer and accepts the challenge of his fellow Ravenclaw. Kestrel starts quickly with a low sweeping spell targeting Walter's legs, but the more experienced duelist reads his opponent's move and hits Kestrel with a head spell. "Too predictable," the Adept uttered. Walter follows up with another high-arching shot but Kestrel deflects the attack this time with the same spell. The adept then targets his rival's feet, only for his low spell to be blocked with Kestrel's shield charm. Showing lightning-quick reflexes, Walter casts a surprising combination of back-to-back spells, first disarming Kestrel with an Expelliarmus and immediately following it up with a powerful Cruciatus curse that sends the rookie sprawling to the ground.

Using his experience advantage, Walter takes a head start over his fellow Ravenclaw in the opening round. Will Kestrel be able to recover in the next round? Send in your Round 2 DSs when ready.

It has been a rough start for newcomer Kestrel Kingfisher, as his more experienced opponent opens up a sizeable lead over him. Walter senses fear through the eyes of his fellow Ravenclaw, and wastes no time kick-starting the second round by quickly disarming Kestrel and then sweeps him off his feet with a low spell. The adept continues to pound on the downed student, casting a spell aimed towards his head, but Kestrel deflect the attack with a similar spell. Kestrel feebly tries to hit Walter on the legs, only to be stunned by a Cruciatus curse unleashed by the more experienced Ravenclaw. Walter attempts to make quick work of Kestrel, targeting the 'finishing' spell towards his opponent's body, but Kestrel manages to block it with a shield charm, and stays alive in this duel. The question is, for how long?

All is not lost for Kestrel, but you need a miracle on the last round to turn this around. Send in your Round 3 DSs when ready.

With the newcomer Kestrel Kingfisher hanging by a thread for his dear life, Walter knows this is his duel for the taking. As he was about to finish off his opponent, he saw the notorious Slytherin Death-Eater Diana Fabray at the sides and winked at him, and inexplicably he cast a shield charm as Kestrel did also. The student tried to make a move and aimed at Walter's feet, but the adept blocked with his second Protego in a row. Walter has had enough, and he finally put Kestrel out of his misery with a Cruciatus curse, followed by another pair of perplexing shield charms. "What the heck is happening?", Walter wondered for a bit, and then helped his fellow Ravenclaw get up his feet."You have much to learn rookie," the Adept advised the student, as Diana walks away in the background laughing naughtily.

After watching the duel between Kestrel Kingfisher and Walter Kovacs, Diana Fabray decides to challenge Frankfurt Flashburn, the Hufflepuff Magus. Frankfurt accepts her challenge, and they take their places. Frankfurt starts off with a Stupefy spell, which sends the Slytherin girl flying off her feet. Seeing that he was about to follow through with a spell to her head, she quickly fires a disarming spell, sending Frankfurt's wand in a high arc over his head. While she has the advantage, Diana runs forward and casts a low-aimed spell to knock Frankfurt off his feet. But before it can hit him, Frankfurt catches his wand and fires a similar spell to block Diana's. Surprised at how quickly Frankfurt regained himself, Diana prepares to send a Cruciatus curse his way, but Frankfurt is one step ahead as he disarms her with ease. Thinking that he has the upper hand, Frankfurt shoots a low-sweeping spell at Diana, but his aim is off, and Diana takes the opportunity to blast Frankfurt in the face with a high-aimed spell.

Both duelists are giving it their all, and it's very close so far. Diana Fabray leads, but only because of her physical Toughness. Will Frankfurt be able to overcome that and move one step closer to becoming an Auror again, or will Diana's skills prove too much for the Hufflepuff Magus? Send your Round 2 DSs when ready.

Recovering from his blow to the face, Frankfurt casts a disarming spell at Diana, causing her wand to fly out of her hand once again. As Diana dives for her wand, Frankfurt fires another spell at her, but it hits off its mark again as Diana retrieves her wand and disarms Frankfurt. Cursing his bad luck, Frankfurt grabs his wand again and fires yet another spell at Diana, but is knocked off his feet by her low-aimed spell.

Diana then casts a Cruciatus curse at him, but Frankfurt rolls over and casts Stupefy, which blocks the unforgivable curse in mid-air. Frankfurt jumps up, ready to continue dueling, but he is hit yet again by a spell to the face.

The duel is starting to go Diana's way, but there's still time for change! Send you Round 3 DSs whenever you're ready.

Thanks for all the support, guys! At first I wasn't sure whether or not to ADJ, and I had a bit of trouble formatting on Round 1, but I'm starting to get the hang of it!
