Before Frankfurt can regain himself, Diana casts a Cruciatus curse on him, and a sharp jolt of pain is shot through his body. Shaking it off, Frankfurt fires a disarming spell at Diana, but it is blocked away harmlessly by her own spell. Seeing that he would need to take the offensive to win, Frankfurt catches Diana off her guard with a Stupefy spell, and it sends her sprawling to the floor. Frankfurt then casts another spell directly at her, but she puts up a shield charm, and the spell bounces away harmlessly. Diana leaps up and shoots a spell aimed toward Frankfurt's head in an attempt to finish him off, but he blocks it away with a similar spell aimed to her's. Frankfurt still has energy left to fight, but he sees that he can't win against the Death Eater, and decides to throw in the towel before he gets seriously injured.

Congratulations to the winner, KielDaMan! You put up a great fight Cornelius, but in the end it was Diana Fabray who came away with the victory. Update your profiles accordingly.

Ravenclaw Student Kestrel Kingfisher challenges Magus Dippet to a friendly duel. First the duelists bow to one another and then drawing their wands, send forth their first spells. Those spells ram into one another between the duelists and vanish in a puff of purple smoke. Then the Gryffindor manages to disarm the young Ravenclaw. While Kestrel is still retrieving his wand, Ollivander hits him with a low spell that ties his shoelaces together. Kestrel takes a step and falls but lands right by his wand, and immediately summons a shield charm. Dippet summons his large labrador patronus at the same time but, since it has nothing to block, it pads over to the fireplace and curls up to sleep. The Gryffindor then tries to silence his opponent but Kingfisher lands a spell on Dippet's face that causes his eyebrows to grow to an enormous length, preventing him from aiming correctly.

After defeating the Hufflepuff Magus Frankfurt Flashburn, Diana Fabray decided to accept Johann Peterschmut's open challenge. The two wizards take their places, bow, and the duel begins! Johann starts off with a low-aimed spell to knock Diana's feet out from under her, but she sets up her shield charm, which deflects Johann's spell. Diana then fires a spell right at Johann's knees, but he too sets up a shield charm to protect himself. Coming out of his shield charm, Johann casts a Cruciatus curse on Diana, who immediately finds herself writhing in pain. Shaking it off, Diana casts a disarming spell, but Johann does so too, and the two spells collide in the air with a small explosion. Blinded slightly, Johann fires a spell aimed toward Diana's head, but it misses her completely, and Diana sees an opportunity. "Crucio!", she yells as she tortures the Death Eater with the unforgivable curse.

Both duelists are casting spell after spell, and it's completely even thus far. It's still anyone's duel! Send your round two DSs when ready.

Diana continues with the curse. "He can't hold on much longer", she thought. Johann Peterschmut, barely resisting the excruciating pain, casts a disarming spell on Diana, and her wand immediately flies right out of her hand. Johann gets up off his knees and runs forward. Just as he's about to give her a taste of her own medicine, she grabs her wand, turns around, and shoots a disarming spell at him. He dives to get his wand, but Diana fires a low-aimed spell right at him, knocking him flat on his back. Johann wastes no time in jumping up and retreiving his wand, and then he sets up a shield charm just as Diana fires a spell aimed right toward his chest. Coming out of the shield charm, Johann fires a spell at Diana's head, but she blocks it away with a spell of the same kind.

It's still extremely close! Diana leads, but only by a hair. There's only one round left to go! Send in your Round 3 DSs when ready.

Both duelists fire disarming spells at one another, and they collide in the air with another small explosion. Seeing an opening, Johann shoots a spell at Diana, but she jumps to the left and casts a Cruciatus curse on him. Overcome once again with unbearable pain, Johann summons just enough energy to set up a shield charm before Diana can take his head off with a high spell. Just as Diana raises her wand to fire another high spell at Johann, he casts a Cruciatus curse on her, and Diana lurches over backwards from the pain. Johann laughs as he shoots a high-aimed spell directly at Diana's face, thinking he could win the duel, but she sets up a shield charm just in time. Diana and Johann both still have energy to fight, but the duel has gone on for three rounds already, so this duel is over. Diana Fabray is the winner!

Congratulations to KielDaMan! That was an incredibly close match, and both of you dueled excellently. Update your profiles accordingly.

The young Ravenclaw deftly cuts his eyebrows back down to a proper length and then tries to send a spell at Dippet's head. The Gryffindor's Patronus appears from the end of his wand and quickly bites the oncoming spell, dissipating it. Kestrel follows up with a low spell that connects and sends Ollivander skidding to the floor. Thinking that Dippet will send a strong spell back in retaliation, Kingfisher starts to put up a shield charm but is instead silenced by the Gryffindor. Unfazed, the Ravenclaw connects again with a spell to Dippet's torso. Dippet doubles over for a minute and spits out a slug. As the unfurtante slug slowly slimes away, Ollivander disarms Kingfisher and prepares for the next round.
