goldfish Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 This is fantastic. The detail inside is superb. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Wow, that's one fantastic creation turambar! The exterior design trully resembles a Medieval Inn, and the interiors are just great with all those fine details. Very impressive job! Quote
blueandwhite Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 This is a really nice MOC. What a great way to introduce yourself to Eurobricks! More than anything, I really like that you've gone back and revisited an older MOC. The previous version was nice, but this version is a clear improvement. The interior details are also quite impressive. In particular, I really like the kitchen and the pantry with the fish hanging on the line to dry. Even the landscaping has improved between this version and your first one. Great work and welcome to Eurobricks. Quote
Captain Becker Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 (edited) Really great job, i only found one mistake. Why there isnt a door in the kitchen? How the lady can get in the kitchen and out to give the food to the customers? Maby out of the window? I dont think so But I truly like it, and welcome to eurobrick btw. Mrlegoninja Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Detail is always great indeed! Nice work! Quote
Big Cam Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Holy cow, the details inside are excellent. I know it;s not but it looks like Darth Vader just walked into the Inn. Quote
Admiral Croissant Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Awesome! So many details! Too many to name them all, but for example the skythe, the crossed swords above the fireplace, the well, etc. All great. I also noticed that the arm in the well can be moved. Excellent Quote
L-space Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Very, very good. I really like the atmosphere you created in the MOC. Lovely scenes and the surroundings really match. Quote
Matn Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Welcome to Eurobricks! A few days ago I stumbled on this on Brickshelf and I loved it. The exterior is very good, I like the overall structure of the building. The landscaping is also very nicely done. The details are lovely, like the minifigures hanging around with their expressions and so. The interior is also great with the nice furniture, again nice details. I like the fireplace! One of the things I like the most is the wheelbarrow: what a great looking design. Great job! Quote
Masked Builder Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 That's quite amazing! All of the little details make it even better! Quote
Zorbas Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Beautiful creation with many fantastic details both in the interior and the exterior. The front of the building looks very nice and I like the fact that the interior actually looks busy. Welcome to EB turambar! Really great job, i only found one mistake. Why there isnt a door in the kitchen? Are you sure? Quote
lightningtiger Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Now that is an entrance.....your first post and it's an AWESOME Inn in Tudor style in the upper storey. Excellent interior especially the stone flooring and stacks of smaller detailling ! So welcome to you 'turambar' to the world of EB and keep these MOC's comming.....oh yeah, as I always finish with.....I'm a conformist! ! Quote
Milan Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Truly nice and detailed creation! Well done! Quote
Dan the Brickman Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 What I like about this one, is all the little scenes you staged. Like the heroic knight transporting his prisoner, while children throw stones at him, and my favorite, is the washtub. Ingenious way to depict his clothes on the ground. The well confuses me a bit, as to what is coming out of it, though from the villagers looks, it not friendly. :classic: :classic: + Quote
turambar Posted October 4, 2010 Author Posted October 4, 2010 Thanks all for nice coments and good wishs. @Big Cam : It is not Vader just two falcon knights, who are also not welcome. Quote
Dragonator Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 Wow, welcome to the site turambar, that's a really nice Inn you've got there. I really love that you've put lots of detail into both the exterior and the interior, there is a lot to look at in this. I've always been one to admire a tiled floor, so bonus points for that as well. The furnishing upstairs is well done too; the suit of armour is a nice touch, as are the books. One of my favourite parts has to be the design of the downstairs fireplace, it just suits the room so well. As for the rest, the well design is great, and the stables are very nicely done. Awesome to see a dark red cape in there as well, it's such a nice colour, isn't it? I also am curious about what the pneumatic pipes are for? Definitely a massive improvement on the previous design, you should be really proud of this. I look forward to see you around the forums and I'll keep an eye out for your future MOCs. Quote
I Scream Clone Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 A lovely rendition of a inn in all its glory, seediness etc as well as all the little treats like the beast in the well, tiled flooring and more. Welcome to Eurobricks as well turambar. Quote
Aethersprite Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 I'm a sucker for interior detailing, this is just great! Quote
