Now I have to do it over -this may take a while = pics wont be available until late Monday or early Tuesday. I have to call my MAC friend and have a solution. KimT [double posting *wacko* ] But You may have this SUPERSIZED pic titled "LEAVING" as a teaser ;-) KimT Quote

Hobbes Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Here's mine: Windsor Gallery Warning: 204 pics - not many members, though, concentrated on the models and the park more ;-) Quote
Kikuichimonji Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Jon, your folder isn't public yet. And I'm really anxious to see what I've missed :-P Quote
Zane Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Public now. I want to go to a Legoland...nobody I know even owns more than, like, 3 sets (which are all boxed up in an attic or something...), and they've all been to Legoland when I haven't! Life's so unfair... And those pics don't make it any easier! :P -Tilius- Quote
jonfett Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Hobbes, I really like all your pics. I did not take much of the park itself so it would be great to take a few of yours. Although my gallery is public I will post a few personal favourites! http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/jonfett/...vent/image5.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/jonfett/...vent/image8.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/jonfett/...ent/image40.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/jonfett/...ent/image53.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/jonfett/...ent/image74.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/jonfett/...ent/image78.jpg Enjoy! Jon. Quote
Christian Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Nice to see all of the pictures, some of them are actually quite funny. I would really have loved to attend this evnt, but unfortunately I was'nt able to attend, as Windsor is quite far away from Denmark for a 15 year old. Hopefully next year the event will be in Billund, 'cause then I might be able to attend. Quote
jonfett Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 I think we are planning to go to Germany, that should be great as then some of us will have visited all 3 European parks. Of course, we will go back to Billund in 2 years! Jon. Quote
DoubleT Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Christian we are severel Danes planning to drive to Germany, maby you could go.. ps working on my pics Quote

KimT Posted May 1, 2006 Author Posted May 1, 2006 Seems like we now have a solution 5 for the CD compilation. 5: post a link for your brickshelf folder in this thread and I'll download from that. Already doing it to Hobbes' and Jonfett's pics. KimT NB My brickshelf gallery should be up soon. Link will follow.... :-/ Quote
SuvieD Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Although my gallery is public I will post a few personal favourites!http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/jonfett/...ent/image78.jpg Jon or anybody that went can you write down the names of everyone that went. It looks like a good group were able to go this year. I would love to come out to one of these events. Perhaps I can save enough up to make a good holiday out of it. I already went to Germany so perhaps Billund or Windsow would be more likely for me to attend. Not this coming year though, regardless of location. :'-( Quote

xwingyoda Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Okie Guys, my first load of pics are loaded so lets start this Event Review fully loaded with Mojo baby X-D :-P This part will be exclusively dedicated to the event goers hehe To thank our Belville Fairy for a really great event, I shall start with him !! (tks a lot mate *sweet* ) !! While the others where scouting the Tent full of reduced priced Lego for HP and Santa Fe sets (more on that later hehe ;-) ), our Jon could not decide what Belville cloths to buy X-D :-P At the end, he decided to buy both, go figure :-| (nan they were too small for him unfortunatly !! :-P ) Jon cannot do anything like the others !! While the eventees were sorting parts and constructing sets, our dear Jon had the pleasure to spill beer on Sne's bed (maybe a little too much beer loool). Sne was really happy and while he was trying to clean it he spilled even more !! loool At this point I had a "brilliant idea": use a hairdresser to warm the sheets (what was I thinking :-| !!). It started to smell like something was burning !! I didn't take any pics because I was laughing so hard at that time hehe !! We stopped the hairdresser idea, it was really bad !! And a last little Jon anecdote !! Yeay !! I love those !! Aredhel, Apo and Jon wanted to do the log ride where you get wet !! I decided to join for fun (I was wearing a thick leather jacket so water was not an issue hehe !!). Jon was given a nice little sailer's yellow rain hat !! Oh boy he looked cute in it :-P Don't you think he looks like a mass murderer on this pic ?? hehe I know what you did last summer Jon !! Here are Aredhel & Apo waiting for the log ride: A little blurry but they are cute ;-) Our UK friend Jof who met us on both days at the park didn't dare to join us for the wet ride hehe Now lets concentrate on our evenings: lots of fun, sorting, drinking and building !! Yeay thats life alright :-D While Sne, Khorne, Kim are sorting... TT is relaxing... Aredhel & Apo are building !! Build and Sort on !! Post On *yoda* Quote
xwingyoda Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Okie, thanks to a shameless act of double posting ( X-D :-P ), the review continues !! We also had a lot of fun at night, here is some proof !! Ras was in a teasing mood... Kim in a fun mood and moc mood (his pyramid made of pearl silver has a weird effect on him :-P ... Copmike (on the left) and Sne are doing I don't know what *wacko* Here are pics of our last lunch: On the left (front first): Ras, TT & Khorne and on the right (first front): Aredhel & Apo On this one (front first): myself, Jon & Jof To finish this first part relating to eventees, one member in particular made a huge mess: a big hurray to... Kim X-D :-P After buying all the sets (including the Viking Fortress) and drinking all these beers, Rhum and cola... he left a huge trashcan :-P (we all helped of course !! I just like teasing the Viking hehe) Thats all for now !! I shall post part 2 later on ;-) Until then enjoy and Post On :-P !! *yoda* Quote
xwingyoda Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 OK, since no one posted since my last upload of pics, I shall not resist the fantastic act of triple posting (do not try this at home X-D :-P ). Remember my Event catch phrase "I mean you no harm" :-D This final part will be Lego related hehe !! First a pic of the Outlet store where we bought a lot of trains !! We had fun organizing a MISB Santa Fe in the Bed & Breakfast corridor ;-) Now the highlight surprise of the event: we were allowed in the Model Makers' secret lair *sweet* (oh oh, pleasure overload, need breathing !!). It was a really fun story only made possible by the fantastic determination and negotiating skills of Jon and Copmike !! A huge Tks guys for your artistic performance hehe !!! The model maker explained to us how they made model and answered our questions !! This was really interesting X-O All models that are in the park are glued, therefore each model maker table and work space do have a glue gun and fume extraction system. Behind each wotrk space and table, each model maker have their own parts supply: Since they use a huge quantity of bricks, the storage rooms of ALL parts they need are in the "basement" - aka the Eldorado of all Lego fan (it was like putting an alcoholic in a warehouse full of bottles hehe X-D ). It looked like this (unfortunatly I was too excited to take more pics, the only one i have is this just before we left): Imagine main alleys full of boxes (loaded with every brick !!) and drawers with loads of specialised parts !! Its heaven really ;-) Hope you enjoyed this review, and until next year's event in Germany - Play On !!! *yoda* Quote
