November 30, 201014 yr Great Winter Village, The Red Brick! All of the building go together and compliment each other well. I too can't wait to see it finished and displayed under your tree. Very well done. Oh gosh, don't get me started on the snow we have had today . I wont be using the HP train (I am using a 'non' Lego train). I will be intrigued to see the train you are using. Here where I am in the UK, it has only snowed properly today (and we've only have had barely an inch of snow). ~buddy~

December 1, 201014 yr Absolutely Marvelous! You really matched your mocs to the style of the official lego sets. I envy your ability to keep the synergy between official sets and mocs.
December 1, 201014 yr It is brilliant I had a plan to do the same but I don't have any of the winter village sets

December 1, 201014 yr Nice set-up Red Brick with some great additions. If I had a little more table space, I'd like to do something similar to this with the wintery picks. The HP train doesn't look bad, but I must admit that the Holiday Train would look even better rolling around your winter village. Had you thought about adding perhaps a tunnel and some white trees to the scene? Some additional landscaping would look very nice. In any case, this is a fine collection of LEGO Christmas/Winter sets (and MOCs). (note: watch those double posts though) - thanks.
December 2, 201014 yr Author Thank you Brickster, I have turned the HP train into a tank engine and given it the holiday train look. But unfortunately I haven't motorised it yet and I hope to do so before Christmas day. I will be adding some more tree's and giving it a landscape when it is under the tree, and I would add a tunnel but not a Lego built one. maybe a cardboard cut out covered in tin foil .
December 2, 201014 yr Author Well here it is, The winter village under the tree. The whole village I decided to use the merald night because The train we usally use was broken , and the HP tank engine I mentioned wasn't motorized so I ended up using the EN The Train station The Ice rink The post office and the perfume shop Thank you for all of your helpful suggestions and I will keep making winter buildings in 2011 untill next christmas as allways C & C welcome.
December 2, 201014 yr Fantastic Red brick . I think emerald night looks at home in the setup and a lot better than the harry potter train. I'm not too sure about the tinfoil, but I think you've just pulled it off . I bet you'll end up with a winter city by next christmas . Thanks, CB

Thanks, CB Thank you Crabboy392, I used Tinfoil last year but I used plastic buildings then so I thought it would look good with the Lego. I don't think the residents in the village would like it being extended to a City .
