dr_spock Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 Your girl lets you display LEGO in your bedroom? Good type of girl to marry. Quote
Big Cam Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 Ouch. Bigger wall anchors may help. Good advice, I was going to say you may want to shoot for studs next time. Wall studs that is. Hopefully rebuilding them is still fun for you. Quote
jaredchan Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 That's horrible! I hope nothing underneath the shelf get damaged... As others have said, maybe you can do some MOC with the parts before restoring them. Quote
The Yellow Brick Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 I hope this doesn't happen to me But I have dropped the Grand Carousel down my stairs before Quote
legotrainfan Posted October 16, 2010 Posted October 16, 2010 Be happy if there are no broken pieces. Especially the baseplates could crack if falling too roughly, I suppose. This situation must be really annoying. It's a complicated puzzle to put all those sets together since their pieces have become mixed. Quote
jeffjcc Posted October 17, 2010 Author Posted October 17, 2010 Well... Technically they are on display in the guest bedroom. Ta Da!!!! Back together at last. Only took a few days, and now our fingers are a little sore. Let's take a quick look at the piece count that was in a nice pile CC 2056 MS 1248 GG 2352 FB 2231 GE 2182 ---------------- Total = 10069 minus, approximately, maybe 200 or so for the small portion of MS that I don't have up, that leaves me with 9869 smashed modular pieces. In the end, we had no broken pieces, and were missing a grand total of 10 pieces! NOT TO BAD for a pile of 9869!!! Quote
The Yellow Brick Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Yay, good to see that you've rebuild them all. Also forgot to ask were any minifigures hurt During the Incident Quote
