Stash2Sixx Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Nickyblade, please don't go back to lurking. And no need to be sorry either. This thread is to bring up known issues with VIP Cards (at least that's what it has turned into) and that's good. Stores will update the points right away, providing the sytem isn't down. Shop at Home can take a little bit of time, especially if the item is backordered since you don't receive your VIP points until the item actually ships. Ceroknight, big sales or not, the system should deal with the points within hours. Chill out. Quote
Ceroknight Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 sorry if i was being rude, that was never the intention, nickyblade.. It just seems that the VIP points are updated manually so it might take a while or someone might forget... I'll stop now Quote
NickyBlade Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 (edited) Sorry for taking it as rude ceroknight. :( Under the VIP faqs it says if your points don't show up with in 24 hours of payment (when your order ships), to contact support. If they are aware of the points issues and working on it, a little blurb somewhere on the site would help cut down on emails and phone calls. :) Edit to update: My VIP account was fixed today! CopMike Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Thanks everybody for your input, keep it coming! My VIP account was fixed today! I´m glad to hear that ! Quote
Multiverse Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 I've had a different 'problem'. As it is, I've currently got 289 VIP points, which translates to 100 DKK. Now, one day I casually changed my country settings to see what special offers were available in England (because if I desperately have to, I figured I could always get somebody over there to receive them and then send them to me). The offers turned out to be the same, but another curious thing happened: VIP points: 289, Reward £100.00. One GBP is something like 7,5 DKK, so my 100 DKK became 750 DKK just like that. =J It quickly registered the mistake, though, and changed it to £10, just as I was browsing the 'exclusives' category. =P Quote
LiamM32 Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Tell me if I should start a new topic for this. The problem that I have is that I can't sign up for the program. I have a card that was given to me at the Vancouver Lego store. When I try to sign up online, I get an error message; "Registration failed, please check your card number and user information provided." Does anyone know the solution to this problem? I live in Canada. Quote

kermit Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 I have a similar problem but it is with a Lego Gift Card. I got the card earlier this year and used it, but when i tired to reload it I would get the message that the card number is invalid. Quote

Redhead1982 Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 I have a similar question about the VIP points. I hold a VIP car from the Copenhagen store. I used it for two online purchases (sent to CPH adress) and twice at the store. Same as Multiverse, I noticed I can change between countries (I was checking the German site). Does this mean I can use the VIP card also for shopping at German LEGO stores? I've had a different 'problem'. As it is, I've currently got 289 VIP points, which translates to 100 DKK.
