Nice find pedro, thanks for sharing. So you UK peepz are lucky once again with this Daily Mirror promos. Yeah the line-up seems pretty interesting, I like the brickbuilt parrot the best.

Don't live in the UK? Worry not! I trawled through LEGO.com and found instructions for 9/10 of the sets...

30008 Snowman

30009 Christmas Tree

30010 Fire Chief

30011 Police Dinghy

30012 Mini Aeroplane

30013 Police Quad

30021 Parrot

30041 Pirahna

30042 Mini Sub

Incidentally I also found these...

30020 Jet

30040 Octopus with treasure

...and there's some world racers promos too that I haven't linked.

There is indeed a topic about this already.

No worries! Someone might want to merge them then.

Why doesn't any other country do this?! Namely the US! Come on, do it! I also really like that parrot. And the mini sub is cool too.

Oh, did I mention that you're lucky?

Hmmm... I think you did actually!

I still feel there's a lot of making up to do after we missed out to the US on the chrome C-3PO promotion! Can't be said for the rest of the world though (sorry).

Those are really nice sets to get as promotional freebies. A few of those have come to the US, actually, but they're sold on their own for $2.99 or $3.49 or so, not given away with a newspaper (a double shame - not only would it probably be a less expensive way to get these, but it would also sell some more newspapers, which I know the US newspaper industry could really use these days :sceptic: ).

That Creator parrot is indeed a particularly lovely model.

pedro: Lots of us in the US missed on the gold-chromed C-3PO minifigures, as well. :cry_sad: I dearly hope/wish they'd include them in regular sets. Threepio is actually probably my favorite Star Wars character, and I've long wanted an "ideal" version of him that shows the character off looking his best. My not having gotten one of those minifigures (so far - I have some unopened 2007 sets that could conceivably have one; I've been holding off on opening them to allow myself to fantasize a little longer that I might actually have one, before I open the sets and learn the bitter truth) is one of my two biggest regrets about Star Wars LEGO I've missed out on (the UCS Millennium Falcon being the other).
