Something tells me Klaus-Dieter is going to be very happy...

But seriously, this is a great move for Kingdoms, and I'm glad to see we're getting more interesting subjects this time instead of just a retread of Fantasy Castle. The Mill set in particular looks absolutely amazing, with two new animal molds and the return of the highly wanted pitchfork. I sense that this is going to be massively popular with AFOL Castle fans, but I think it also has potential as a general success across the market.

I can't really judge the other three sets, since the pictures are so small, but from what I can tell they look fairly solid. In any case, the mere fact that we're getting Civilian sets in a regular line rather than as exclusives is a cause to jump for joy.

mill village looks great. the pitchfork looks new. It's a simple three tine one rather than the old style with two crossbars more like this style.

Can't wait for better pictures of the goats and chickens. and a view of the windmill without the watermark covering it.

New kingdoms sets!!! I had to register just to get in on this action! Thanks very much for posting this, I have been waiting for pictures for months  These new sets look fantastic. Even though I was hoping for a larger dragon knight castle, I am having a hard time complaining. I am most excited for the mounted dragon knight, and just the greater presence of dragon knights in general. And you can't go wrong with new animals, and a pitchfork, and more civilians, and... I am going to buy so many of these :cry_happy:

Here is something odd.....the guy has changed his name on flickr, and also uploaded a slightly sharper image of the mill....so he must have the catalogue himself...it's taken at a different angle. Just go to that flickr page and you'll find 3 not 2 images now - his user name is now 'smartwii'.

I noticed the goat has black spots on it !

Keep on grinding that mill stone !

While I never considered myself a big fan of Castle/Kingdoms, it looks like I am about to be converted! These new sets look fantastic; 7189 Mill Village Raid especially stands out as must-buy for AFOLs. Too bad we have to wait six months before we can get our hands on these!

I think the pitch fork is just a brown Trident

Why, when in good old Fabuland had a pitch fork.....if my 42 year old memory serves me correct !

By the looks of it the mill set comes with two Dragon knights who are now the real baddies, as the farmer on his cart fends off a soldier with said pitch fork. A farm hand/son...in the hay loft is a female.....most likely the farmer's wife.

Keep on using that pitch fork !

The trident has a longer middle tine. This pitchfork is not as angular as the trident, all the tines are the same length and the shaft is simpler. It's a simple tool for simple peasant folk.

It looks like there is a Dragon Knights barding on the horse in the Escape set :sweet:

Yes, and thats one of the greatest parts of the next kingdomswave. But does he have a buckethelmet or a visored one? and is it pearlsilver or pearldarkgrey?

Well i am not that much into civilian stuff. But i think the two more civilian sets give the kingdoms-line an edge, so that Kingdoms stands a bit more out from the other castle themes. The first wave seemed a bit too basic, with just the most necessary things for a castle theme covered by sets.

There already enough said about the windmill/farm-set. So i comment more on that carriage: First of all, the two horses make this whole thing much more believable as already was mentioned. From what i can see, the proportions seem to be much more balanced than the last carriage/chariot we got. This finally might be a castle set/carriage that fits in whith my Castle-display (Castle Elswehr and some armies at the moment) and wont be taken apart immidiately.

The pics of that blacksmith-set are pretty small on my notebook, so i wont say anything about that one.

For the wave in general: Still needs more cavalry and a jousting set. (just kidding, having one or two of that new dark green barding is fine)

Yesssss... although a Dragon Knight castle was what I really wanted. A mounted knight with dragon barding is AWESOME, hopefully that set has a majority of green soldiers rather than red (or pink, haha) so I can grab a few of it.

The sets looks really nice from what I can see in the photos! The only thing I find a bit disappointing is that there are only 4 sets for 2011. I would have expected at least 6 or so. I'm hoping the reason there is only 4 sets might be because there is a exclusive set along the lines of MMV coming out later in the year or early in 2012 for the Kingdoms theme.

I love the peaceful atmosphere of the mill (yes I know it's under attack) but the little animals and sunflowers in one corner make this almost a livable space for the mini-figs! Finally a home for my cows, pigs and landless peasants!

Looking at it closer the carriage doesn't seem all that bad, although I can't quite make out what the story is with the roof; it looks like an onion, but there looks to be a .... second tier?? ... we shall see, I can't wait!

My first thought is 'I wonder if any of the torso prints will be suitable for my pirates'. I've already taken the Queen's dress and the Blacksmith's apron. It looks like there'll be at least two (?) new historic civilian prints here.

I was really hoping the windmill would be a MMV-type set with adult-oriented design... oh well. At least the barn has walls, unlike a certain other barn we've had recently.

I added 6 higher res photos! Managed to sneaked into the store again and took more photos like a ninja. Sorry about the lighting.

I'm sorry to ask you this, but is it possible for you to make a pic of the new City line, or at least the boat

The green vest on that guy in front of the barn can totally be used on a pirate. And he also has Dastan's hair in blonde. The dress looks promising as well. I'm in.

Um... and looking at it from a Medieval perspective, the sets are good too...

[edit] ooh, and buckets! Pirate ships would have buckets, wouldn't they?

Omg! Mill looks very good! They're not big sets, I hope that they won't be expensive. The dragon knight is really cool! but... I would see dragon's long shield!
