Excellent time to finally add an avatar to my profile I must say,

I very much like the Lego battle-droids, and thus my Halloween version has been creative with some paint to become utterly scary.

LOL

That's an awesome avatar. IMO the best so far.

Thanks (and to Masked Biulder too)! It took numerous tries to get it right so I'm glad its good

I really couldn't miss such a great contest, could I? )

However I felt it to be a bit boring only to change the avatar, so here's a small story to entertain you. I hope you'll like it. ) :sweet:

Wow, I just got to say there are lots and lots of great avatars coming in recently. I never thought joining this Halloween avatar-fest could be so much fun! I'm really enjoying seeing the transformation of the normal avatars into the spookified versions - really some great creative stuff there. Cheers to everyone! :classic:

At the Ministry of Death, they're getting ready for another hallowe'en bash. The Skull Minister is most displeased with what he's being told by his skulletary. "What? I've dressed up for the wrong season AGAIN?"

I know that it's a simple one and definitely not as spooky as the others but participating is always fun! :sweet:

Btw, there are some REALLY great entries in here! Well done guys!

That's greatly designed

I'm loving how you built that skeleton crab Skalldyr.

Skalldyr I really like yours! Nice work.

Wow, thank you all very much!

Skalldyr! That is so simple, but so amazing!

It wasn't even that simple, but funny.

How do you guys make those animated avatars?

They are .gif's. I make them with imageready which is a part of adobe Photoshop. I'm sure there are online programs to make them with as well.

Yay, I think mine works. :classic:

Okay, actually, it doesn't. The original was animated, but I'll replace it with this one because the animation doesn't work in my avatar.

I personally used paint.NET in combination with unFREEZE, a free gif animator!

It's really simple but you should have some skills and TIME.

UnFREEZE may be not as good as photshop but it's a freeware and a good alternative with good outcome!

What's the problem? I actually had the problem, that, if you insert too much frames, the gif won't work on avatars. If you could describe the problem I might be able to help. :classic:
