xwingyoda Posted May 21, 2006 Author Posted May 21, 2006 Well my Yub Yub friend, the stickers are less worse than on the Barge for instance !! However stickers on SW sets of these prices are really aggravating >:-( Especially the holographic emperor !! I hope you will get it on sale, but I hope you won't pass the opportunity to get this awsome set ;-) ISD On !! *yoda* Quote

That was the only excuse I needed so I got it anyway. I am displaying it with some of the mods you made and some of my own on a shelf in my room and the minifigs are in my collection! It is really good set! Quote
xwingyoda Posted June 20, 2006 Author Posted June 20, 2006 So Yub Yub, what other mods did you do on your ISD ? Awaiting for pics hehe ;-) Yes indeed its a great set and I really love it !! *yoda* Quote
mutley777 Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 sorry to dig up a old thread but i just got mine today. :-P i opened the box just to have a look(no room to display it yet) and to my suprise all the minifigs and guns were in one bag on their own. i looked to see if this was mentioned elsewhere in the thread but did not see it. i have never come across this before in a lego set (but i only buy star wars mainly), is this the first time lego have put all the figs in their own bag? Quote
xwingyoda Posted July 31, 2006 Author Posted July 31, 2006 OOps, I should have mentioned that nifty detail :-$ My bad :-P Its the real first time that I've seen a polybag only with figs in a SW set. I don't remember exactly regarding some '05/'06 city sets !! I just think its great when several figs are included 8- Quote

It was like that in the Castle of Morcia. It's pretty nice, because you don't have to go through all the bags to find the minifigs. Quote

I remember asking why LEGO didn't do this in all sets. The answer I got was that they purposely break up the minifigs into different bags to make them harder to steal. Apparently, when LEGO puts all the minifigs in the same bag, people open the box in the store and steal that one bag out of the box. That makes sense, but it makes you wonder why the ISD has everyone in the same bag since it has some expensive figures... Quote

xwingyoda Posted August 3, 2006 Author Posted August 3, 2006 Wake up everybody !! Its TLC we're talking about !! Therefore everything is possible :-D *yoda* Quote
mutley777 Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 older boxes used to just have the 2 little sticky tape thing to stop you getting in, the larger boxes now have that silly perferated bit to stop the box being opened without it really showing. it ruins the box now when you open them :-( Quote
natelite Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 hmm, shoplifters ripped even the small boxes to shreds in order to steal stuff. i dont see how having the new boxes would do anything to help. so the only plausible explanation (besides the obvious, TLC is run by millions of monkeys with millions of typewriters) is they want them to be stolen. :-D Quote
xwingyoda Posted October 10, 2006 Author Posted October 10, 2006 Axle, I admit your sig is cute but DO make it smaller please, I don't want to be forced to delete it ;-) *yoda* Quote
