The entries are in from the Hero Factory Mini Contest, so now comes the time for villain that's most likely to stay alive to be found! For a notoriously evil villain such as Von Nebula, the most effective way to do this is by making them fight each other in gladiatorial death-matches! Let the games begin! Voting for this contest will occur in five rounds lasting one day each, where you chose the outcome of each match by voting! Everyone who joined before the 23rd of October 2010 is entitled to vote once on each match per round. Entrants cannot vote on their own entries. At the end of each round, the entry in each match with the most votes will defeat their opponent and move on to the next round! In the case of a tie in an earlier round, both entries will move forward. If there is a tie in final round, the winner of the match will be chosen by a mysterious staff adjudicator. I favored the more robotic entries over less robotic ones (like the brilliant Sporulator), serious entries over "humor" entries, etc. Altogether these reactions help me explain why I didn't enter myself-- all the cool ideas I came up with were ones that I would probably not have voted for myself. Is there a link, or did all winning villains just have bigger and better weapons? Food for thought that can be snacked on during this next round.... The number of surviving contestants has been halved, and the stakes are double! With only two rounds left, these villains haven't come this far to die now. But there can only be one winner!
