October 24, 201014 yr How do u tell bricklink which sets u own? Check out BrickStore if you want to keep track of your inventory. It integrates in an excellent way with BrickLink, allowing you to easily generate 'Wanted' lists, track prices, discover what sets you can build with your current inventory, etc. I can't recommend it enough :) Edited October 24, 201014 yr by jantjeuh
October 25, 201014 yr In my experience BL seems to get the parts lists a lot quicker than Peeron, maybe because Peeron admin takes time to approve and post on the site? Hi, Anyone with an idea why this set is missing from Peeron? Any peeron alternative for part list? Thanks, Noam
October 25, 201014 yr Author I will try BrickStore, though it looks no longer maintained... last release dated from 2009. We are almost at 2011...
October 25, 201014 yr I will try BrickStore, though it looks no longer maintained... last release dated from 2009. We are almost at 2011... True, but the current version is very stable anyway. At least, I haven't noticed any bugs or weird crashes yet. If anyone knows a better alternative that's actively maintained, feel free to let me know anyway. Edited October 25, 201014 yr by jantjeuh
October 25, 201014 yr Author Hi, Someone (he didn't post directly so I won't say his name) mentioned that I should check out Basebrick, after 10min of going through the interface, i must say it great! Exactly all that I lacked in Peeron! Thanks!
October 26, 201014 yr check out Basebrick Looks really powerful! Have to play around a bit with it, but looks like a great page for keeping track of parts!
October 28, 201014 yr I've downloaded Brickstore, I just want to ask two questions: -To keep track of my inventory do I have to manually open the inventory of every set I own and copy+paste the parts into one sheet? If so it seems like too much work and I'll just use Basebrick, which is indeed very nice, apart from problems it seems to have consolidating all the different colours of a part I have under a single "group". -How do I get rid of the Tier P1 / Tier Q1 etc. columns?

Hi, I found brickstore not relevant to me, as I have no intention of buying or selling parts, so it shoots in the wrong direction for me and makes it very hard for me to keep track of my inventory. Use http://www.basebrick.com/, I think it will let you do what you wanted. Thanks, Noam
October 28, 201014 yr Some respect for Peeron, please . It's more accurate than other sites; if only it were a bit less slow...

[/quote']I'd have to disagree on that one, I often find mistakes in the Peeron inventories that have been submitted in recent times. I just can't be bothered alerting them any more because they never get back to you. Edited October 28, 201014 yr by Whittleberry
October 28, 201014 yr The three main players Lugnet, Peeron and Brickshelf are pretty much on the way out having not grown and evolved at the same rate as the internet. That's why users have migrated across to forum sites like Eurobrick and Flickr. I'd love to see Peeron sped up, cleaned up and made modern - just as I would Lugnet and Brickshelf (I mean - it's absurd that you can't even email someone to ask about a posted image). I'm just starting out with basebrick although I use bricklink the most for cross referencing inventories. I use Brickstore too for printing set inventories.
October 29, 201014 yr I'm using Basebrick as well now.. it's pretty nice but still needs some polishing here and there :)
