blueandwhite Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 What terrible news. Honestly, Dan's work remains one of the most important contributions ever made to the AFOL community. To hear of his passing at such an early age is incredibly sad. It's a shame when somebody has worked so hard to make his or her world a better place only to leave it so early. I think it's fair to say that Dan's passing is felt by all AFOLs, whether we're bricklink regulars or not. For me Bricklink made this hobby come alive. R.I.P. Dan. May your work and your memory continue on for many years Quote
Flare Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 Thats really sad, but we must remember one of his major accomplishments in life: creating Bricklink! I don't think many other people could create something similar as well... My condolences to his family. Quote

M'Kyuun Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 His was a remarkable, if brief, yet triumphant life. LegoFiend Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 I just hope it wasn't Lego products.. I bet you someone will come up with a Lego conspiracy theory that claims that Chinese made Lego bricks coated with Lead Killed him... That would be sad... ;-( Best wishes to the family.. He was a great man.. ;-) Quote
