Hey all.

I'm a big fan of the BBC Sci-fi comedy Red Dwarf and I decided to create the title ship into Lego. I decided to base it on the classic small red brick style model rather than the Pencil shape CGI version most of you will be familiar with.

Here's a reference pic:

I'm not entirely happy with the way the front bit has turned out, but it's the only way i could get it together without lots of plates.

Thanks for looking. Comments and criticism welcome.

This looks really good. Any plans on actually building it?

I haven't watched Red Dwark in years. It used to come on right after Doctor Who Sunday nights on PBS. I think I saw everything through the end of the fifth season.

My favorite lines had to be at the end of the second season:

Female Rimmer (to the Listers): How could you sleep with yourself?

Make Rimmer: Why break the habit of a lifetime?

Classic

Nice! Did you try and join up the front end at all? I can't think of a way to do it off the top of my head but it would finish it off nicely...

You going to try a minifig scale version next....??? HaHaHa!

Cheers

Rog

PS - For those of you that are not fans of the show the Red Dwarf ship is 6 miles (10 km) long, 5 miles (8 km) tall, and 4 miles (6 km) wide!
