LegoFan03 Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Wow! That is really beautiful police HQ building! Great job! :) Quote
Vindicare Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 .... I don't even know what to say. This is remarkable. All the feather pieces...wow. This is dedinitely one of the greatest MOC to ever grace the pages of this forum. Kudos to you, amazing job. The details inside and out are outstanding. Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 (edited) Wow this is very impressive 'JJG'. There is so much to look at! The exterior is unbelievable and so many details on the inside. The motorcycle and 'stained glass' are awesome. How did you create that? They're not stickers are they? Great job on this build! Edited May 17, 2011 by Leg Godt Gud Quote
alois Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Do you have a picture of all your modular buildings combined in a street? Quote
Jasper Joppe Geers Posted May 17, 2011 Author Posted May 17, 2011 Do you have a picture of all your modular buildings combined in a street? Nope, not yet. The old Muntstraat pics are getting "out of date". I'm thinking of creating some mocs for a while, and combining them into a new part of the road. I'm still keeping the other buildings though, only the restaurant is no more. Quote
sonicstarlight Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Incredible as always, JJG! When I saw this topic back on the front page, I could hardly wait to see what was posted. As a general rule I avoid stickers in my creations, but yours are easily the most visually stunning ones I have seen and I feel that the building is actually much better for them. The architectural details, as expected, are spectacular, as is the sheer scale of it all. Even though you make me feel like a total amateur with your MOCs, I really appreciate all the effort you put into them and for sharing them here Quote
Jasper Joppe Geers Posted May 19, 2011 Author Posted May 19, 2011 Many thanks! At first i did not understand what you meant by front page though... Quote
kinjai Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 (edited) Einfach unglaublich! Ich fass es nicht - ein tolle Kunstwerk, ja! Das gehort in einem muzeum, auf jeden Fall! lightningtiger Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 AWESOME police station 'Jasper', excellent detail and the police bikes are wonderfully stickered like a real Dutch cop cycle ! Man, I wish people would stop raising the bar.....aw, well life is a challenge right ? Keep these AWESOME builds of yours comming......oh, what's next in the line up ? Brick On 'Jasper' ! Quote
sonicstarlight Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 At first i did not understand what you meant by front page though... Oops, yeah, I meant first page of this forum and not front page of the site. Just because English is my first (and only) language doesn't mean I'm any good at it This deserves to be on the frontpage, though Quote
Cecilie Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Wow, that is one awesome building! It looks so real! I love all your little details . Those balconies look really great. And behind that wonderfully detailed facade, you have some really amazing interior. Nice touch with those interior glass walls. And that copier is spot on, instantly recognizable . I wish to someday be as good a builder as you . Quote
Man with a hat Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 I am stunned. This is simply unbelievable. Everywhere I look on your pictures there are some fantastic techniques used. There are too many details too mention them all and the design is simply perfect. Now I am jealous. In cannot hope too be this good. Quote
Jasper Joppe Geers Posted May 21, 2011 Author Posted May 21, 2011 MAny thanks! You're all too kind! Quote
Perterz Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 Oh wauw Absolutely mind blowing MOC! Great design, part usage and detailing; I really like those windows you've created, they look really good by themselves and in the building. Also awesome patterns scattered across the MOC ;) Nice style you have, keep building! Quote
Fuzzylegobricks Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 Wow! I can't believe I missed this earlier. I love the use of the clear sticker paper for the stained glass window designs, and the motor bike looks like a natural printed set! Great work yet again. Quote
Jasper Joppe Geers Posted May 22, 2011 Author Posted May 22, 2011 Well, just to let you know Fuzzybricks, the windows are no stickers.. I've done them with acryllics and paint. No stickers. ;) The motor cycles are indeed stickered. coloured foil so to say. Cheers! Quote
ENeuman Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 (edited) *snip* The Windows As you can see, i've done something to the windows as well. Along with the building's architecture, i created these stained glass windows in a Frank Lloyd Wright style design. It took me some work, and had first sets of windows done to the other mocs first, to get the process the way i wanted it. It's all hand crafted, that's why it took so long to get this one finished. *snip* That really awesome and excellent job on stained glass that you created. One question how do that? do you use label sheet and printed out? or is there other way to make on glass? Edited May 24, 2011 by Peppermint_M Please Quote only what you need, not the entire post! Jasper Joppe Geers Posted May 25, 2011 Author Posted May 25, 2011 Well, like i said before, the windows are done by hand. That is, drawn with acryllics and ink. Quote
Trent Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 This is a wonderful MOC. The details are superb, and the flooring is excellent throughout. The feathers are particularly good and I really like all of the interior. I'm stunned at just how good this is. Quote
kris kelvin Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 Very good MOC. The architecture details are fantastic. It`s simple but not too simple. That`s what I like. High quality MOC Quote
Mr. McDuck Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 I saw this earlier at TBB and Flickr and i can just say: Amazing! Full of details and great building techniques! I love it! Quote
Gregorovich Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 That really is amazing, Jasper Joppe Geers! There's too many amazing details that it'd be near impossible to pick a favourite. Well done, and thanks for sharing! Quote
