Hello Rbrt09090! Welcome to EuroBricks and the LDraw topic :classic:

It looks like there's nothing wrong with your model or your entry

I do have a recommendation:

I see you've uploaded your image and file to EuroBricks. While there's nothing wrong with that, the maximum amount of space is quite low. I would recommend to use a cloud such as DropBox, Onedrive, Google Drive etc.etc. Or use Bricksafe, a site dedicated to hosting Lego files.

@Rbrt09090:

The images you use in the last two sets are too big. According to the EuroBricks rules, images may be a maximum of 1024 x 768 (or 768 x 1024) pixels. I see you uploaded your images to Bricksafe, and Bricksafe has a feature that autmaticly creates different sizes of your images. If you hover over a thumbnail, you san see a little menu to choose which size you want. Click the one you want, and then copy/paste the link. :classic:

6361 Mobile Crane

Known errors: Missing Stickers

Download LDR File

Hello Rbrt09090,

I have some comments:

- I think the ground level is too high, the bottom part of the tires and the black plates under the container are not visible correctly.

- Are the rear lights Tr.red? They don't look transparent in your picture.

- The black hinge (3597) should be rotated to reach the black plate.

- Print is missing on the crane arm (2350), mention it in the "Known errors" section

Hi I was looking to download the file to use for either LDraw or Lego Digital Designer and came across this post, but yet, it doesn't download anything but give me a bunch of binary code. I keep trying to create my own .lxf file on LDD. I downloaded version 4.3 but it keeps shutting down on me. I've read through many posts but haven't found a solution.

You can download the file by right clicking on the download link and then choose something like "Save As". The exact text depends on your OS, Browser and language.

The browser opens the file as text, instead of downloading it, because it thinks it's a text file (which it basicly is), that's why you see the text instead of downloading it. :classic:

Also, in the future, if you qoute a previous submitted set, don't qoute the image

Ok. If I right click on the link, which in this case for the Back to the Future Delorean, is an .mpd file, it says I can save link as... but it doesn't say anything about saving the file itself.

That's probably the right button. If you press it, it should come up with a dialog of where you want to save the file, or maybe it automaticly saves the file in your default downloads folder.

Have you tried it? It wouldn't break your pc if you press that button

Yes I've clicked my right mouse button and clicked the save link as. It doesn't come up with a pop up screen to save the file. It doesn't download anything. In fact it doesn't do anything. But if I go to the web address bar, I can paste that link into the address field.. It's a link. Not a file.

Well, there must be something you're doing wrong. As far as I know, this option should be available in all major browsers.

Anyway, you can also just copy the text you get from clicking on the link and then paste that in a plain text (.txt) file. And then, just rename .txt to .mpd.
