i tried to replace all fonts with Ubuntu font, and the result is this (i wonder why those "XXXXXXXX" appeared instead...)

and the text size in the status bar is still huge...

and there is still no parts available from .dat files...

Those crosses are 'texture failed to load' indications, are you sure the program can find/load the font file, it should report problems in the log file.

If you want we could try some things using eurobricks PM as this is off topic for this thread.

Edit: It works for me on kubuntu, but you have to use the full font name without the extension (e.g. "Ubuntu-R")

yes, @roland , the theme would be a bit like that you’re sharing, perhaps looking a little bit like from actual Blender look, or something else - those huge text sizes are still scaring me a bit

about offtopics, sorry everyone, soon i’ll post more models here, i hope it helps disguising them! ;D

errors: wrong 2x3 bricks, the original “TAXI” is written in a serifed typeface (Clarendon Bold?) printed, not Helvetica Bold (a question, btw: can someone confirm that some late 605 were sold with this more recent brick? anyway, i guess that would be great using the original old one)

(i found no instructions online from this one, i made this from the parts list and available photos, i guess there are no errors in this part - actually, the model is quite simple)

Oh man, that Italian Villa. The memories... :laugh:

My father had it as a child and when I got his old tub of Lego it was one of my favorite models to build when I was young.

i can imagine! :) - and instead, i vaguely remember having this one! :D (those blue slopes made me remembering! :D ) - interesting is that one specially catched my attention now when i was rebuilding it as .ldr file! :) (when doing that firstly i though i didn’t have it! :D )
