Cecilie Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Everybody needs to eat, and Darth Vader is no different. This scene depicts his everyday lunch. Of course, if the food isn't just right, Vader will not be happy... "Did I say I wanted my steak to be bloody?!" What Vader doesn't eat, the stormies get to eat afterwards... Cake for dessert. Gotta have cake. Higher resolution pics can be found in my flickr stream. Quote
gratefulnat Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 What a great scene, absolutely love the look on the cook's face! Perfect! And Darth Vader's bib - what a great detail. The yellow/white checkered tableclothe adds some great color contrast, and the wall is spot on. It's like in intimate peek into someone's life where you'd expect something very different. Enjoyed this entry very much Great stuff , thanks. Nice design...for a lady. Do you miss wearing your bib? Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Great in so many ways. The concept, minifig posing, and vignette itself are all excellent. Quote
Praiter Yed Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Very nice, and amusing - I really like the contrast between the stark Death Star wall and the twee table cloth. It makes me think of by Eddie Izzard. Good luck in the contest. Quote
Masked Builder Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 I like your door and the window back there. Nice work! Quote
prateek Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Very funny! I like Vader's bib, and the chef's face is priceless. BTW, I don't think you said what would happen if Vader doesn't like the meal. Quote

Legostein Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Hello! Very original setup! The food looks tasty, especially the cake. The stormtrooper cook's facial expression is perfect. The surrounding room is also well-constructed. Cheers, ~ Christopher Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Very good entry Cecillie, I like it a lot! The brickbuilt cake looks great! I wish you the best in the competition. Quote
fred67 Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 When I read the title I was picturing Vader standing on line in the Death Star Cafeteria, with lime green Jello, and a cashier at the end; maybe Vader arguing because he left his wallet at home and the cashier saying "I need to see some ID." Great job, Cecilie! I love the little details; the bib, the expression on the cook... awesome. I think if Vader ate like that every day his figure would be more like Jaba's, though. Quote
Tobbe Arnesson Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Haha! Good one! Especially like the black part with lights in the wall. Best of luck in the comp! Quote
The Yellow Brick Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 That's one person I don't think I'd like to dine with , Very well done Cecilie Quote
