DarthSion Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Yeah it was pretty funny, loved Yoda band. Quote
Oky Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Looks like we're being treated to it a little early! Enjoy! So much for it premiering on you guys' birthdays! Quote
Wout Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Lol that's great! I love "Cooking with Jabba" Quote
Brickdoctor Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 So much for it premiering on you guys' birthdays! Today is Marie Antoinette's birthday. Sorry, that's the only person I recognized on the list. Quote
sok117 Posted November 2, 2010 Author Posted November 2, 2010 Well, that made my day! Nice to see it air early! I really liked it Quote
Ceroknight Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Looks like we're being treated to it a little early! Enjoy! So much for it premiering on you guys' birthdays! Great find!! That was quite entertaining! Quote
Aethersprite Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Woah! I love it! Really cracked me up. I love how they featured sets from '09/'10. Also, based on the date the video was posted, seems it premiered on YouTube 6 days after this thread was made. So much for November 5th. Quote
Masked Builder Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 That was good for a five minute movie. I like Jar Jar's outfit. Now I'll have to get Boba Fett..... Quote
commdr_neyo Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Funny indeed, I love all the little 'easter eggs' in it! I like the end aswell. Quote
General Magma Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Haha, that was great. I also saw several minifigs which started me to get thinking: new Gamorrean guard + Jabba = new Jabba's palace set? Re-release of the Jawas and the tusken raiders? The bith band? Perhaps... ~ General Magma Quote
The Legonater Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 That was soo random :P I lvoed Vader watching the Raiders of the Lost Brick. Was it just me, or did he have THX 1138 on his cast? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 new Gamorrean guard + Jabba = new Jabba's palace set? Well they did include the 2006 Sail Barge... Quote
Oky Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Here we go again - people seeing what they want to see in such simple promotional vids: new sets and minifigs. Though I can't blame you after we saw the new ARC-170 in Quest for R2 before it was released. I certainly wouldn't mind a new Jabba's Palace set with a printed Jabba and Gamorean guard, and maybe even the new Boba. Not so crazy about the We-Only-Know-One-Song band. Back on topic: As always, I love all the little details they put in this, such as all the signings on Vader's casts. My favorite: "Who's old now? - Obi Wan" Quote
prateek Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 I've got to say, the new Slave 1 looks pretty cool in this. All this did for me, though, is make me want a proper Mos Eisley set even more! Quote
The Legonater Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Back on topic: As always, I love all the little details they put in this, such as all the signings on Vader's casts. My favorite: "Who's old now? - Obi Wan" I liked the THX 1138, personally Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 I came across this great Star Wars movie on Youtube. It's funny and very well made for sure! Quote
Masked Builder Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 That would be Lego's work just to tell you. It is pretty funny though. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 This was mentioned in another topic, (What the?) but I do think it deserves it's own. I liked the humor in the movie, especially the classic Platoon vs. Han scene. Quote
Masked Builder Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 I liked the humor in the movie, especially the classic Platoon vs. Han scene. Yeah that was good. Along with the Yoda band part at the end. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Yeah that was good. Along with the Yoda band part at the end. If it wasn't a kids movie, nothing could have made it better than if the Empire executed Jar-Jar at the end for blowing up the DS. Preferably with acid. Quote
DarthSion Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Oh this is almost delicious, a mod who doesn't use search, got to love that. I know, Because I started a thread about a week ago, The Bombad bounty in the culture section. Quote
