Professor Flitwick Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Talk to me in private please. I would like to try and make the right decision here. For goodness sake don't! Why on Earth can't we have it out in the open? If you want to save Shaun's life so badly, then say what you have to say in front of all of us. Either that, or stop wasting our time with dam fool statements like 'I could tell you, but it has to be done in secrecy." I seriously hope no one is foolish enough to believe you, Erwin; it clearly can't be important, urgent and life saving if you won't tell all of us.
Dragonator Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Are you saying that if stash dies the scum lose protection! THat seems good! If you had bothered to read all of the discussion today then you would have realised that we have absolutely no proof that this is true. Nothing. A scum was killed last night, so we know fora fact that he didn't have a vest. The only vets we know of currently are mine and Sandy's, and as Sandy is already dead, killing off Stash to remove vests is only going to affect the town, not the scum. Then we have the fact that no townies can kill at night, so it doesn't help us anyway! Frankly, Drake's insistence at keeping his protection is looking fishier and fishier all the time. He wants the guy protecting him to stick around. And he's fighting a heck of a lot to do it. On the contrary, I don't see why it would be a good move to vote out someone who is not only helping to protect me from the scum, but has helped the town a lot in the past. The fact Stash has accused you of being scum certainly makes it interesting that you're so keen to see him gone, doesn't it? This may seem like Blasphemy to some, but perhaps nothing for today, or vote off someone on Stash's list. Doing nothing is the worst thing we could do right now. We must act, or we will make no progress and we will never b rid of the scum infestation. I have given you proof that Shaun is an anarchist bent on the destruction of our government, that he has the means to work with the scum to achieve this, and that he does not at all want to help the town. He is a neutral who favours the scum over the rest of us, so he must go. Why then do you hesitate? Killing him isn't going to have any negative effect on the town, he's a damn neutral, and a vile manipulating one at that. I will tell you now that I am asking you not to vote for Shaun because of information that has been given to me from a reliable source. Weather or not they are legible is a different matter but all you need to know is that I am doing what I believe to be true. megablocks, you don't have any evidence other than the lies Shaun has whispered to you in private. The only reason you want him around is because you think he can protect you from guy who is out to avenge his family, the family you killed, but the fact is, he can't protect you at all. The fact that Shaun is the one who outed you to us and to the person trying to kill you makes it ludicrous that you would be defending him. We are so close to a conviction now, we just need a three more people to decide they want to save this town, rather than hand it over to the mob on a shiny platter. Taking out Shadows now will clear the air and allow us to focus on the scum tomorrow; keeping him will only lead to further conflict and splitting of the votes, like we are seeing today. His influence is heavy, and since he has to side with the scum to take out his targets and win, he will try to keep at least a couple of them alive at all costs. That isn't going to help us at all. As your police chief and as a loyal townie who is risking his life to clean out the filth, I urge those of you who haven't yet to vote for Shaun. Do the right thing, and you will all be relieved and glad tomorrow when I and my supporters are proved right.
def Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 The fact Stash has accused you of being scum certainly makes it interesting that you're so keen to see him gone, doesn't it? No, I would lay low if I were scum. If I were Ronirani and the vests were passed along, I would want Stash alive. I don't like the fact that he gave vests to scum. In your case, how do we know you're not the Noodles boss? I'm not accusing you, but I'm not going to assume you are working for town and need extra protection. I want Stash out since he was giving protection to scum, and that makes him dangerous to keep around. Pretty clear and simple, no?
Professor Flitwick Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 No, I would lay low if I were scum. If I were Ronirani and the vests were passed along, I would want Stash alive. Not necessarily; it could be a double bluff. Though the same could be said for any of us. I don't like the fact that he gave vests to scum. In your case, how do we know you're not the Noodles boss? I'm not accusing you, but I'm not going to assume you are working for town and need extra protection. The same reason we don't know if it's not Mrs. Keen, or Mr. Juan, or anybody else. I want Stash out since he was giving protection to scum, and that makes him dangerous to keep around. Pretty clear and simple, no? We can lynch of the Scum he protects during the day, we need to keep him alive; he's protecting innocents as well.
Dragonator Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 No, I would lay low if I were scum. If I were Ronirani and the vests were passed along, I would want Stash alive. That would be assuming the scum all got vests from Stash, but as is clear from last night, they did not. The only scum we have evidence of having a vest is Sandy, and Stash himself can't even say whether any of the other scummies have a vest. I don't like the fact that he gave vests to scum. In your case, how do we know you're not the Noodles boss? I'm not accusing you, but I'm not going to assume you are working for town and need extra protection. I certainly don't expect anyone to assume my innocence, we can't assume the innocence of anyone. But I would hope my actions can speak for themselves. As far as I know, the only reason I have a vest is because I'm in constant conflict with the Mafia families in my capacity as the chief of police, so I was given a vest to protect me from them at night. I want Stash out since he was giving protection to scum, and that makes him dangerous to keep around. Pretty clear and simple, no? But he isn't a danger anymore, as the only two people we know he has given vests to are myself and Sandy, and she is dead. I can understand your reasoning, but as we have no proof yet that Stash is protecting any other mafioso, and as killing him would severely hurt the town, I can't support a vote for him. And I especially can't support a vote for him when we have the bigger threat of Shaun still spreading his lies in our town. Right now, I believe strongly that taking out Shaun is the best decision this town can make. As I see it, a clear and simple choice.
def Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Not necessarily; it could be a double bluff. Though the same could be said for any of us. Sure, which means we don't know. I know my record's clean though. We can lynch of the Scum he protects during the day, we need to keep him alive; he's protecting innocents as well. Again, we don't know that that's the case. Everyone's making an assumption here. That would be assuming the scum all got vests from Stash, but as is clear from last night, they did not. The only scum we have evidence of having a vest is Sandy, and Stash himself can't even say whether any of the other scummies have a vest. Again, we don't know what's up. To be fair, you're not really doing anything as chief of police. And again, I'm not accusing you of anything, simply saying that I don't have any special reason to put my faith in you. It really is on the fence, and I can see why. But, if Shaun is a manipulator, and we know it, and he has no powers, it's just as easy to ignore him on the sidelines till another day. What's the rush?
The Legonater Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Bah, this is nuts. After working on you people for 45 years, i still don't understand you all. Stash clearly has important info, and we need more of it. The mob's actions against her tonight will verify who's side she's really on- we need her here alive. Shaun has brought out Callie, but other than that has made nothing of importance beside vote. Which would you rather have gone? A potetnially usefull informat, or a Neutral in every sence of the term? The choice is yours.
RileyC Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Hey has anyone noticed how Dick has misspelt Ronzoni every time he mentions it? I mean this cant be just a spelling mistake because he adds letters were there shouldnt be and gives it extra syllables. Have a look at what I mean: Ronzaroni Ronzaroni Ronzano Ronzarini Ronzani Ronirani Lots of variation on a very simple word dont you think? Maybe Dick is trying to over compensate for actually being a Ronzoni member?

Wait...R for Ronzini, it all makes sense now! You can't expect anyone to take you seriously.
The Legonater Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Lots of variation on a very simple word dont you think? Maybe Dick is trying to over compensate for actually being a Ronzoni member? Or maybe he's just a biker that likes using slang
def Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Or maybe he's just a biker that likes using slang I'm glad people are paying attention, but it's just a little knock at the Senator, who spelled it a couple of ways. Ronzaroni is my favorite, and it goes well with Noodles.
Inconspicuous Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Unvote: Stash2sixx / Stash the Stylist Vote: Shaun Dows / Shadows After reconsidering, I think this is the best decision for today. Something is rotten in the state of Denmark Eurodina, and I have a funny feeling it's you. It's one neutral or another. If it's true that you want to destroy the government, that's no small thing. In this case, I think getting rid of the vests can wait. If we're wrong, Mr. Nader is dead meat.

Thanks for supporting the town in this one, you will not be disappointed when Shaun is revealed as a neutral tomorrow.
def Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Thanks for supporting the town in this one, you will not be disappointed when Shaun is revealed as a neutral tomorrow. Hasn't Dows admitted he's neutral already? I thought we knew they were both neutrals.
Dragonator Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Hasn't Dows admitted he's neutral already? I thought we knew they were both neutrals. I'm pretty sure he is still maintaining the lie he has been telling us all along, that he is an innocent loyal townie, but if he has changed that story then I've been proved right in my assertion that he is neutral already, haven't I? I don't think he has changed his story though, I'll read back and check.
Captain Genaro Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Serious, if I stick around, I can see that I need to switch sides and join the mob. Another reason we should vote for you. Screw it, yes Quarry, you're totally correct. I got that number right in my head and didn't quite write it down. I'm really sorry. Can't blame you boss. Getting blown up must effect the head. Try a beer or two. And erm, mabey you folks already know this but bullet proof vests are illegal. I was sitting in a box one day and suddenly a voice told me that bullet proof vests are illegal. I don't know too many law abiding citizens who run arround making illegal vests.
The Legonater Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 I believe that makes 16. Does the Senator want to wrap this up now?
Dragonator Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Sleep even sounder knowing that you've also caused the death of an innocent citizen at the same time. Yep, he still maintains that he is innocent. And erm, mabey you folks already know this but bullet proof vests are illegal. I was sitting in a box one day and suddenly a voice told me that bullet proof vests are illegal. I don't know too many law abiding citizens who run arround making illegal vests. What? How the hell can a vest be illegal, I'm a blasted police officer, I think I know what the law is! That's the lamest thing I've ever heard! I believe that makes 16. Does the Senator want to wrap this up now? I'm pretty sure it's only 15 and we still need one more vote, but do a count just to be sure.
Captain Genaro Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 What? How the hell can a vest be illegal, I'm a blasted police officer, I think I know what the law is! That's the lamest thing I've ever heard! Hey thats just what the voice told me. I even checked my journal to make sure I got it right. Don't go shooting the messenger (Unless beer is involved!).
Fugazi Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Hey thats just what the voice told me. I even checked my journal to make sure I got it right. Don't go shooting the messenger (Unless beer is involved!). Oh? You had a cosmic message about vests? Do you happen to wear one yourself?
Admiral Ron Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Oh? You had a cosmic message about vests? Do you happen to wear one yourself? Since when can a bum afford food? much less a bullet proof vest?
Captain Genaro Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 No, I don't own a vest. And it was not a cosmic messege. I found nothing funny about it. It was just the voice in the sky that tells us everything. Since when can a bum afford food? much less a bullet proof vest? Food! That sounds really good. In fact, I think that I will go buy some but um, could someone loan me some money. I seem to have misplaced my wallet.
Admiral Ron Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Food! That sounds really good. In fact, I think that I will go buy some but um, could someone loan me some money. I seem to have misplaced my wallet. Dont worry, Mr White is dead, free food

It was just the voice in the sky that tells us everything. I'm sorry, but that really has to be the worst attempt at subterfuge I've ever seen in all my days as a police officer. Is there a reason the voice in the sky suddenly just decided to tell you that vests are "illegal", or did it come out of nowhere?

Is there a reason the voice in the sky suddenly just decided to tell you that vests are "illegal", or did it come out of nowhere? It told me before this whole bloody mess started. It also told me some other stuff that is not important right now. Fine no one beliefs me! Hey Mr. Voice! Yea you! Tell these wackos that I'm not drunk! Well, it's worth a shot ( not that I expect a reply, the voice waits till the end of the mess to say anything).
