pellevin Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 Hei! Long time lurker, first time poster. Thanx for a great site, I've much enjoyed following the new setlines through this forum. I've been one of the exo force nosewrinklers, thinking the line looked far too juvenile & banal for my tastes. Then, after a particuraly long and arduous programming session, I decided to reward myself with some lego. But I had forgotten my credit card and so ended up with a Sentry, the only thing I could afford with my cash. But damn, what a beautiful set! I was completely taken aback by the attitude, the posability, and how it just reeked of coolness. A simple set, to be sure, but oh how it uses its few pieces well! In fact, I liked it so much I had to run out and buy a new one. I threw a glance at Uplink, but it didn't seem to play in the same league at all. So then I had two Sentries flanking my laptop, which did not help productivity in the least. And unavoidably, when I was given a particularly boring assignment, I ended up trying to combine the Sentries into one single mech. The result: Rulezor, here served with a short story just as bad as the name. :-D In any case, the Sentry set kind of got me hooked on the line, and I'm sure I'll buy most of the sets. Oh, and again, thanx for a really nice site! Quote
KimT Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 Wow! That's one nice RULEZOR. Good work on enlarging the Sentry. Though I'd prefer the humans to win ;-) KimT Quote
Sir Dillon Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 Hey pellevin, welcome! :-) That's a really nice mecha you've got there. The humans never really stood a chance. Quote
xenologer Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 Wow, that looks great! And I do like that the robots win. I just can't take the humans seriously with their constant manaical grins and ugly hair. not sure whats going on with the red technic rod between the legs tho 8- Quote
Kahgarak Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 Pretty good!I like the double rockets on the shoulders. If you like Exo Force, then certainly visit my forum: EXO FORCE NET! Quote

Wow, so very, very subtle of you.... Anyhooo.....nice mech. Purty amazing what you did with that amount of parts. Oh, and Rulezor backwards is Rozelur, which sounds....lame. -Tilius- Quote
UltraPrime Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 That's pretty good - might add it to the Sentry army I am amassing :) Quote
The Hordesman Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 Oh, and Rulezor backwards is Rozelur, which sounds....lame. You think? Sounds like a demon to me. Great mech! Looks really heavy and well-armored. Excellent work! Quote
vahkimetru Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 Which brings up the point that 1 Sentry+ 1 Sentry = 156 pieces! Not far from the piece count of the four larger mechs! Nice mecha you have got there. I love the weapons. Quote
natelite Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 Which brings up the point that 1 Sentry+ 1 Sentry = 156 pieces! Not far from the piece count of the four larger mechs!Nice mecha you have got there. I love the weapons. unfortunately you lack the frame/joints of the larger mechs. if you use the skeletal frame (or maybe rip from your KK figurines) from a fire vulture you can definitely create a beefed up super sentry. xenologer Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 unfortunately you lack the frame/joints of the larger mechs. I think thats a Good Thing. Having all the robots based on the same basic skeleton and joint system is what bothers me most about ExoForce (aside from the silly looking minifigs and story). Be nice to see more mechs that use different joint/skeleton methods.... Quote
