Now that I see the picture, I have to admit that this is my favourite series so far... If the "dots code" still work for identifying these, I might try to get almost all of these.

To be perfectly honest if you want to get all of them bricklink is the place to do it; it's way less than buying separate figures and costs less per mini than they do at my nearest store I could feel them at.

At the store is best for me, they cost 1.90e while online you always pay them more and must add shipping.

Oh, then in that case you are correct, the only place I can find them in New York State is a little store called "Urban Outfitters" and they don't let you feel them. :sceptic:

I pay about 65$ per full series on bricklink plus about 3$ for shipping, but so far I haven't been able to find a better alternative.

I've already started dreaming about finding these in stores. My lego buying dreams are always pessimistic, because at first it always looks like there's an amazing selection but it all vanishes as soon as I try to make a purchase. sometimes it's aisles and aisles of retired sets, revamped reissued sets, and "oh my gosh this set doesn't even exist! I'm so buying that", sometimes it's a box of collectible minifigures - but it's always a letdown, as it will turn out that the box was filled with empty packets, or megablocks, just keeps me from ever getting anything.

Also I've noticed that my subconscious really really wants lego to have a "Peanuts" license , and that the undisputed best lego set ever was "Aztec Ritual"

Oh but anyway, the point was, when are we due to start finding these?

it really is a bummer that the musketier hat will be released in the POTC serie (althought is isn't official yet).

But I am really hoping POTC will get other hats, I think the minifig series should exclusive with there new accessories

On the contrary, I hope that the accessories of some of these incredibly rare and overpriced figures become available in main-stream sets so AFOL"s don't go bankrupt trying to assemble an army of impossible to find figures.

Ditto on this, I liked seeing the Spartan's helmet in Atlantis and I hope they continue to do it. It feels more like Lego to me, that way.

I  grogall!

I  Series 4!

Wait, what's on the side of that Hazard suit guy's head? Is that another face, or some misprint/error?

It's a reflection in his visor. Those images are rendered on a computer. Real plastic probably won't reflect quite like that. They made it look extra pretty for marketing purposes.

Thanks for the awesome pics, grogall!

Now that we're finally seeing them up close, I think that the geisha is my favorite. She'll go great with my the Samurai from series 3 and the ninja from series 1!

Thanks to Grogall for another bunch of awesome hi-res pics! I am ever more sold on getting that fantastic viking in multiples and even that geisha is growing on me despite my initial dislike for her face. I just found it looked a little too chubby, but these pics remedy my misconception of her appearance.

That garden gnome is still just a second chance to hoard that new beard-piece...You couldn't even use its hat for a "Link" minifig from "The Legend Of Zelda" VG-series: wrong curvature!:sadnew:

Be well all!

These High Res photos are great. I don't remember seeing these for the previous 3 series? Does anyone know if there were any & where I can see them?

Although they are not as large as the series 4 pics, I just added the individual fig pics to my BS gallery for series 3 as well!

Enjoy! :classic: :classic: :classic:
