The Player Nº1 Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 I will add them later Today. Posted from my iPhone. Ok, thanks. I'll wait. Regards Quote
RejectedShrimp Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 i am looking forward to the safety suit guy as this will be create in appocalapse builds Quote
JopieK Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 There are quite some nice minifigs in series 4. Today we got our series 3 almost complete :) Just the street guy and the space cyborg. Quote
jonwil Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 The best thing about these minifigs is that we get things that would never exist in normal themes (like the punk rocker or the rapper or the caveman). I do wonder how many parents have said "no" to these collectible figs because they dont necessarily approve of the themes of some of them (e.g. the S1 skateboard punk or the S3 rapper) Quote
Santhor Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Okay. Time to get ten boxes of series 4 (when they come out). My favorites: the musketeer, sailor, punk, safety suit, viking, hockey player, and...well, all the rest of them! -Santhor Quote
AngryChair Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 I'm well liking the look of the werewolf. If it does indeed look like that it would be a very nice horror piece to have in the collection seeing how the previous Studios version was not great (still it was 2002 I think) when it came out. It's going to be an expensive year...............(again). So glad we're moving to a bigger place! Quote
CptMugwash Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 These series 4 minifigures look awesome, I like pretty much most of them especially that hazmat guy. Series 5 looks good too, but S4 will definately keep me occupied until S5, great pics! Quote
SilentMode Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 I'd go for a small army of around 10 of each of them, except the werewolf and perhaps the monster. Don't bother asking for kimono girls or hazmat guys, you won't get any from me! Quote
Baylego Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Cool! I definitely want multiples of the geisha and the viking. I can see many uses for the hazmat suit. They keep putting the sailor's telescope over the wrong eye Quote
HeLena Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 I hope they'll do something like barcodes or dots (I don't know how they're called in English). Quote
WhiteFang Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Thanks grograll for sharing these new close up images of Series 4. Can't wait to see them available in stores and I am still quite clueless of which minifigure will I amass this time! Quote
Commander Assassin Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Not sure if anybody said this yet, but I think I see ears on the Biohazard minifig. Quote
I Scream Clone Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Well I definitely want the monsters and the hazmat man as well as Geisha. The rest are all beautiful though. Quote
Still Raindrop Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Not sure if anybody said this yet, but I think I see ears on the Biohazard minifig. I think that's just a reflection of his eyebrow/wrinkles. Quote
BasOne Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 The hazmat guy is a definite must-have-loads-of Quote
Sirens-of-Titan Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 So a viking in this line and a dwarf in the next?? They seem rather similar but I'm not complaining. It's funny how the hype over the musketeer went down after the hat was discovered in the POTC sets. I definitely can thin of quite a few uses for those historic figs, but with the Hazmat guy I may have to do a more modern MOC, who knows! Quote
slimninj4 Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 This looks to be my favorite series to date. for sure I will get 2 boxes. Quote
kill will Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 (edited) So a viking in this line and a dwarf in the next?? They seem rather similar but I'm not complaining. Uh... What? They're in the the same line and have absolutely no similarity. But OT, the only figure I would want is the Hazmat guy. And the crooked cover on the sailor annoys me to no end! Etzel Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 Uh... What? They're in the the same line and have absolutely no similarity. The Viking is in Series 4 and the Dwarf is in Series 5. They both have silly fantasy helmets, round shields and axes, I say they are pretty similar. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 Since Easter is on the last weekend in April this year, I am betting Series 4 minifigs will be available at Target in their holiday section. can't wait to see a pic of the rest of the series. Hope they judge comes with a powdered wig piece and proper gavel. Really, really hoping the cave girl comes with a dark brown club. Yeah, I know, I've said that before. Quote

And the crooked cover on the sailor annoys me to no end! I think you got series 4 and 5 confused, the dwarf is series 5. I say they are similar because if you look at them they are both armed with the same ax, both have a round shield, both have "Norse" clothing, and although their helmets are not the same, they are pretty similar. The colors on both of them are also a close match with the flat silver predominating. Quote

Actually I think he got confused between 'dwarf' and 'gnome' as indeed series 4 as a garden gnome that nothing to do with the viking whatsoever... :) Quote
sinjid Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Am I the only one that noticed at the base of the hockey player and the speed/ice skater on the second to last picture there are skates Quote
prateek Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Am I the only one that noticed at the base of the hockey player and the speed/ice skater on the second to last picture there are skates No. It wouldn't be possible to attach the figures to the base if they had skates on, so I guess they just put them beside the figs. Ro87n Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Yeay, it will be my birthday when series 4 are going to be released! I'm sure I'll get just more than one of each. If not by others than it will be by myself. Not so much looking for my B-day, but the more at series 4 (and 5 later this year). But I guess some series got more 'army building potential' then others.
